A friend of mine was telling me that he read somewhere that there is a mention of the Thanagarians. I don't know what sort of context it's in, but that's just what I was told. Probably not true, but who knows.

They were mentioned in the prequel comic.

Yeah heard that before something to do with the Kryptonians not been as barbaric as Thangarians and that's why they won't use the death penalty on Zod & co.

I love stuff like that its not as on the nose as what Marvel have done, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I still haven't read it, I had a link to it but it didn't work. I'm baffled as to why its no up on the DC Comics app yet.

Most of the pics have a desaturated quality, but the Daily Planet ones have natural colors. Deliberate?

Went on a work night out last night and my managers and supervisors were talking about how fit Henry Cavill is :funny:

We've now decided to organise an office trip to see MOS :D

This is the best pic of Clark Kent. Kind, gentle, subtle, yet self-respecting. -Big Image-

I feel like one of the hire-ups BLOCKED the use of the spitcurl, so he's gonna have them as Kent. Hopefully the sequel can bring it back ;)

I love this pic.

I never got the affection for the spit curl. I don't mind it but it looks so silly and unnatural in live action that omitting it doesn't bother me.

Are there any videos of the press conference? I've found YT links but they're listed as private

EDIT: just found a couple of videos nvmd

It can be made to look natural as seen by the pics of Cavill outside of the film when he grow his hair long enough.

I think Cavill looks a little better with hair falling in front of his head. Not an S curl. But like how he naturally has it sometimes. Not a big deal. It seams they did that for Clark. Maybe they felt that hairstyle looked more human and thus a better fit for Clark. While they gave a little more severe hairstyle for Superman. Perhaps they thought it looked more alien.

Or perhaps I'm giving it too much thought.

I can understand you saying that based on how the curl looked on Reeve and Routh, but it looks completely natural on Cavill. On him, I think it has the tussed, windblown, American masculine look. On the former examples, it looked wrong because it was an archaic curl formed artificially using product. It sticks out because the rest of their hair is so fine and straight. With Cavill, it just seems like one of his wild locks won't stay in place.

I don't want to be mean, but I've noticed something. Amy Adam's Lois, for the most part looks surprisingly plain, especially compared how she looks in other films and in interviews.
I FEEL like this is intentional. It's as if the filmmakers are trying to "sell" the idea of her as a woman who could exist outside of the movie screen.

Ironically, she looks best in the jumpsuit.

The flying scene low towards the ground in DKDetective is exactly why Snyder is going to win back his reputation with this movie.

i wouldnt say that she looks plain, and in terms of attitude drive and inner strength, There are plenty of Lois Lanes that already exist in this world.

As far as I'm concerned, he won it back as soon as he showed Superman taking off. ;)

Meh, I think it looked natural on Reeve too. I'm not sure if it was a wig or his real hair but either way, it worked there. The only place where it looked silly was on Routh because the rest of his hair was perfectly straight and then right in the middle, you had this little lightning bolt of hair sticking out.
