So....

If this does get made into a trilogy, what would be the names of the next 2 films?

I lack creativity so I have no clue.:o

I'd just be lazy about it and add one more word or name to each new film like:

1. Man of Steel

2. The Man of Steel

3. Superman: The Man of Steel

See? I got nothing over here.:oldrazz:

Man of Tomorrow would be nice.

Same goes to this shot as well, I think.

I've been musing that too. It could be they go the Marvel Phase 2 approach and call it Man of Steel: [Insert something]

For example Man of Steel: Requiem, or Man of Steel: Doomsday.

Or since Lois will presumably end MOS with the monologue and christening him 'Superman' they could call the sequel just Superman, or I was thinking Superman on Earth.

Sequel: Last son of Krypton which deals with the death of superman and the first hint of Justice League
Trilogy: The man of tomorrow which deals with the rebirth and the ending culminates with the start of Justice league as a group

You may be on to something. If MOS is a huge hit, WB may not want to take the risk of not using the term "Man of Steel" in any sequel, out of fear that people might not realize it is a sequel to the first film. The trilogy (and any other related films) could feature titles such as these:

Man of Steel Rises
Man of Steel Returns
World's Finest Men of Steel
Justice League of Men of Steel

I highly doubt they'll have a fear of confusion if the film's a sequel or not.

Man of Steel Rises soundalike a dirty movie :woot:

Man of Steel Rises 2: The Avenging

So I just finally read the prequel comic, normally these things are a pile of crap but this one was fantastic. I'm dying to know what it all means.

- is this actually canon?
- is Kara still alive inside the fortress?
- is Dev-Em the one who walked away? And if so will be already be on Earth whilst Kal El is?

if it's canon, then:

wouldnt whoever survived, if still alive somehow, be stronger than Superman? The collider set visit and info stated that the longer a kryptonian was on earth the stronger they would be. if they've really been around for thousands of years he wouldnt stand a chance.

Personally I could take this as an origin for doomsday almost, mutated by the energy stored in their body and powerful as hell.

I've gotta say, I like that poster's suggestion of

1) Man of Steel
2) Man of Tomorrow
3) The Last Son of Krypton

This shot doesn't look that bad..

I really like this shot a lot. Didn't see what the problem with it was when it was first said to look like bad green screening. That pose is great, love his determined look there.

Adams looks very pretty to me, not plain at all.

I said, in GENERAL. Compare these two screenshots, one from MOS, the other from Trouble with The Curve:

It's clear that they're trying to make Adams seem like someone who spends a lot of time not sleeping. I'm not saying she won't be pretty in the movie, just not all the time. Which is actually rather realistic.

I do too, but it sort of makes more sense for this movie rather than a sequel.

Not if you choose to do a Doomsday plot, then the fact that Doomsday kills him really hits home that Kal-El was the last of a dead race.

Yeah I'd agree with that unless the story is about how Brainiac took Kandor and maybe was to blame for destroying the planet.

^ Again, I'm not saying that Amy Adams is ugly, it just looks like they intentionally "grunged" her up for some shots. And I don't mind that, because it's more interesting than a bombshell approach to the character.

Go the Rambo route. Superman: Man of Steel Part II.

Sorry I just don't see it
