Man I hope this movie's runtime is two and a half hours to three hours.

I wonder how much time will be dedicated to each setting.

if it follows the Batman Begins template, we'll be getting a movie over 2 hours. Batman Begins was around 2 hours, 20 minutes.

There's no doubt it'll likely be long. Snyder has no issues with shooting lengthy projects. I just hope it all makes the cut. His last two films suffered greatly because a lot ended up on the cutting room floor.

Hopefully the script is packed tight enough to avoid having to cut off bits and pieces that amount to large portions.

Though it was a failed attempt, it would actually be awesome if they got DDL for Jor-El. Also I would like to add that I like if they went with Krypton looking like Coruscant.

i'd like for Krypton to look SIMILAR to Coruscant but obviously different. Coruscant (in the day time) was nothing but a bunch of silver, gleaming metal because it's fully artificial planet. i'd like for Krypton to be more fantastical and characteristic.

Pretty happy about these rumors if they are true, and Latino Review is very credible. Classic, Sci-Fi Krypton? Faora instead of Ursa? Maybe these guys actually get it.

And yeah, I'd like a design similar to Coruscant but with brighter primary colors.

If they can't get DDL to be Jor El, than I'm pretty sure WB's, Nolan and Snyder will still try and get a big name actor for the role.

Since DDL and Viggo were originally rumored as Zod candidates, and now a legit source from Latino has said DDL was/is up for Jor El, I think we can assume Viggo is more than likely up for Jor El as well if DDL passes.

I would like to see Crowe looked at as a Jor El candidate also.

WB's should be able to get at least one of those three big name actors for the role of Supermans legendary father.

Of course I want Krypton to look different too. I just meant that I'm glad that they're not going for the same glassy, crystal look for Krypton but for a style reminiscent of Coruscant.

It's ironic that you're defending a movie that is very obviously rehashing stuff that we have already seen in a different Superman movie, there are cool story lines that are around that have something to do with Superman, and this is the best thing that could be thought of?

I love it, Finally we get a new version of Krypton that more of an architectural design.

DDL is prefect for a young Jor-EL , I can not wait to see who is cast as Lara. t:

DDL is close to if not the same age Marlon Brando was when he played Jor-El.

No, I was taking your actual points and modifying them into my own to show how silly your argument is. There have been more incarnations of Zod than the Donner one, so your complaint of the movie being a rehash is unfounded and stupid. Smallville, while doing many, many things wrong seem to deliver with Zod, they have had two different versions with very different objectives and personalities and are introducing another who seems to be just as good. And the comics have had many more, to name a few:

For Tomorrow
Leader of Pokolistan
Leader of Krypton's army
Pocket Dimension

So on and so forth...

And to hate on the film because you think a character sounds "bland" is beyond comprehension.

Didn't you know? It's going to be a rehash and carbon copy of Superman 2 from over 30 years ago!

Nolan and Goyer did the exact the same thing with Batman Begins. It was a rehash of Batman 1989. Didn't you know?
