bleedingcool is reporting that the female lead is in fact Diana, granted they also admit they have nothing to go on but pure speculation. I can post the link if I'm allowed to but I don't know if I can.

i hope debecki, arterton, and cohan get looked at. emily blunt is pregnant so I'm not sure if she'll be able to do it IF it's diana.

alice eve is a little on the short side but i think she's talented.

A couple of other people on another board suggested Lena Heady or Carla Gugino for Diana based off of previous experience with Snyder. They also threw in the suggestion for Billy Crudup for Lex Luthor.

Kara seems like an obvious candidate. They went threw the trouble of hinting at her in MOS, and they've been very evasive about whether she'd appear in future films, which is telling. If it is Diana, it should be a small appearance that sets up for future events.

there's a laundry list of women he's worked with. we though that maybe someone who he's worked with before would have ended up batman, like fassbender or hamm, and look how that turned out. i love those two actress, but you have to go more exciting then either of those. either someone who's got big star potential or someone on the cusp. of course, it isn't up to me to decide whether carla or lena won't be, but they're getting up there in age when it comes to hollywood and women.

5. Lex Luthor
6. Perry White
7. Martha Kent
8. Unknown Super Villain (Let's face it, there's no way that they won't have at least ONE super villain present in this film in order to give the heroes a physical challenge)

The film is going to need to be pretty long in order to compensate for most of these characters, and we don't even know on how many more could be later added.

I also fully expect some cameos from other JL members as well so this film would indeed be crowded.
