The idea of a big budget Superman tv series is a great one. I want this new cinematic universe to end first though. Maybe in like 8-10 years we could get that show. Hopefully it'd be on HBO, and in ten years, the effects on tv will be so much better too. It'd have to be an expensive show to look quality.

In fact, ten years from now would be a good time for a Batman series too. Maybe they could emulate the DCAU plan, just with live action shows?

Batman series for 4 or 5 seasons, then a Superman series for 4 or 5 seasons, then a Justice League series for 4 or 5 seasons. All in ten years time, with huge budgets, on HBO, and with awesome tv effects from the 2020's

That's still better than pretty much anything I heard in Avengers (which I was finally forced to watch).

I said a while back that I thought Superman would make an excellent cable mini-series, like on the level or Band Of Brothers or Rome. More Krypton and more...everything. But only 13 episodes, not an ongoing series for multiple seasons. Extended movie, in some respects.


I always found that amusingly frustrating on JLU. But in that show, she really was a bit too 'innocent'....although later on he apparently nabs Batgirl.....
