I think this will probably eventuate, as well. Superman dying for the people would also go a way in silencing the arguments made by the protesters.

Why, he would die fighting a big monster...like how he fought Zod which they all hate him for. Plus Doomsday would be based on Kryptonian DNA...the fault of the Alien they hate.

If you hate a guy after he saves you why would you love him for dying doing it again?
