Green lantern should be in justice league in batman vs superman not so much
True.I'm sure writers can find a way to have any character win any given fight.
More examples of superman not saving the day but the green lantern/s.Powers and abilities of Superman
Though still largely invulnerable, Superman has been shown to be susceptible to damage from other yellow-sun powered Kryptonians such as Power Girl, Supergirl, General Zod, Non, and Ursa (as well as the Daxamite heroes Mon-El and Sodam Yat); and characters with powers comparable to those of Kryptonians—including the heroes Captain Marvel, Icon, Martian Manhunter, Orion, and Ultra Boy; and the villains Atlas, Bizarro, Black Adam, Cyborg Superman, Darkseid, Despero, Doomsday, Lobo, Monarch, Mongul, Ultraman, Validus, and the current version of Brainiac (when connected to his ship). Most notably, he has consistently been portrayed as weaker than Superboy-Prime, a character who possesses powers closer to those of the Silver Age version of Superboy.
Weaknesses
Despite his incredible abilities, Superman's powers come with several weaknesses:
# Kryptonite: Superman's most famous weakness, kryptonite originated as radioactive fragments of the planet Krypton, created by fusion during the explosion that destroyed it. Superman's cells store electromagnetic radiation from the rays of a yellow sun, and converts it into energy, manifesting as his super-powers. When Superman is exposed to the most common variety, green kryptonite (within roughly ten feet or less of any size or amount), its high-band radiation rapidly interferes with this process, causing severe physical pain and the loss of his powers (or at least a portion of them). Long enough exposure to green kryptonite may eventually lead to death. Kryptonite radiation can be blocked by the use of lead.
# Red Sun Radiation: Natural in Krypton's planetary system, red solar radiation replaces the higher-yield yellow solar energy in Superman's cells, robbing him of the fuel for his powers. (Pre-Crisis, red solar radiation was said to lack the superpower-enabling "ultra solar rays" that yellow solar radiation contains.[30]) This process does not have the painful, crippling and fever-like symptoms of Kryptonite, and essentially leaves him with the normal health and abilities of a human in his size and shape, as it did for the entire population of Krypton during its existence. Exposure to yellow solar radiation causes his powers to return. Other than red solar radiation, using up his stored yellow solar energy (without continued exposure to yellow solar radiation) also causes Superman to lose his powers.
# Magic: Within the context of the stories, Superman's powers, as great as they might be, are the result of a natural phenomenon, not supernatural. As a result, his invulnerability offers no protection against magical forces, and he is affected by most forms of sorcery in the same way as any mortal. In several stories, it's shown that magical/mythical creatures, such as demons, vampires, werewolves and many others, are actually capable of hurting him. However, it is shown that no magic can directly destroy him unless it comes from a divine (or semi-divine) force. In addition, some stories show Superman learning about magic from Zatanna, allowing him to counter almost any spell cast on him. Most notably, he once fought the Four Elder Gods (divine beings) and won despite having a magical sword in his chest and a magical arrow in his back.
In fact the most powerful green lanterns when they got a extra power boost in the comics was hal with Parallax powers and ion green lantern kyle .
Another superhero clearly more powerful then superman is the Spectre.
Spectre (comics)
![]()
The Spectre is a fictional character, a superhero who has appeared in numerous comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in a next-issue ad in More Fun Comics #51 (Jan. 1940) and received his first story the following month, #52 (Feb. 1940). He was created by Jerry Siegel and Bernard Baily, although several sources attribute creator credit solely to Siegel, limiting Baily to being merely the artist assigned to the feature.
Abilities
Virtual Omnipotence
Immortality
Knowledge of events before the Crisis on Infinite Earths
Powers and abilities
The Spectre has all the abilities a god would have including, but not limited to, manipulation of time and space, control over all matter, invulnerability, and limitless strength. For example, if he wished to wipe someone from existence, such as killing a bank robber with a tornado of dollar bills, he can so will it. Virtually anything he wishes to do to those he judges is possible. He has no discernible weakness other than needing a human host to be able to be a fair judge, although he has been tricked before by Psycho Pirate and Eclipso. The Spectre is immune to most damage, although he can be hurt by powerful magic. Though he is widely considered to be the most powerful superhero in terms of abilities, The Spectre does not harm the innocent (unless being tricked into doing so). Usually immune to control effects, in the Blackest Night story arc Atrocitus attempted to enslave him with a red ring but The Spectre cast it off, stating that his fury comes from a higher power and cannot be controlled by a mortal. Without restriction, he is capable of shattering and destroying every universe easily
Powers and abilities
Each Green Lantern wields a power ring that can generate a variety of effects, sustained purely by the ring wearer's imagination and strength of will. The greater the user's willpower, the more effective the ring. The upper limits of the power ring's abilities remain undefined, and it has been referred to as "the most powerful weapon in the universe" on more than one occasion. The Weaponers of Qward say that every weapon has a weakness and the weakness of a Green Lantern power ring is its wearer, although some argue that the wearer is its strength. The ring can produce a very wide variety of effects, but all these effects are accompanied by a green light projected from the ring, and any object the ring conjures is always pure green in color. The 2005-2006 miniseries Green Lantern Corps: Recharge clarified the ring's long-established ineffectiveness on yellow objects, stating that the ring-wielder need only to understand and overcome their fear in order to affect yellow objects, which means that even experienced Lanterns can at times succumb to this weakness.
Power rings as used by various wielders have exhibited (but are not limited to) the following effects:
Constructs of green 'solid-energy,' which can vary from microscopic to tremendous in size and/or complexity and are limited by the imagination of the ring's wielder. This can be used to attack, defend, or to grab targets (Pre-Crisis, the rings generated telekinetic skills without constructs, if needed).
# Force field generation, a somewhat protective aura (limited by user's willpower) used to shield the wearer from the rigors of the vacuum of space. This provides a breathable atmosphere for the user as well. Contrary to older canon, a Green Lantern ring currently does not automatically protect its wearer from harm but must be willed to do so (previously, an unconscious wielder generated a protective force field automatically).
# Generation of mental "earplugs" to block out telepathic communication and manipulation.
# Rendering targets invisible.
# Lights and beams of various intensity and colors, such as destructive plasma and harmless multicolored lights.
Movement capabilities:
# Flight, including flight at speeds beyond that of light, although this requires an enormous expenditure of energy.
# Relatively instantaneous transport across the galaxy and other distances through generated wormholes
# Teleportation (an ability that has not been used in quite some time and is outside the ability of modern Green Lanterns. In modern stories, only the Indigo Rings allow instantaneous teleportation)
# Pre-Crisis, the rings allowed for travel faster than the speed of light.
# Time travel, though several power rings are needed to complete this.
The rings can act as semi-sentient computers and access information through their connection with the Book of Oa; the rings have problem-solving skills but they cannot make decisions or take actions on their own, and must be given directives by the wearer:
# Translation of nearly all languages (originally, this was accomplished by using willpower, but this has changed in the modern era to be a function of the rings themselves).
# Communication between ringwielders, regardless of distance apart
# Diagnostic capabilities, allowing the user to see in X-Ray, diagnose illnesses, and identify materials.
Mental powers of various stages:
# Telepathy
# Hypnosis, including projecting the target's thoughts onto constructed maps
# Creation and emission of certain types of radiation, including simulated wavelengths, such as Kryptonite
# Placing humans into a state of suspended animation and pulling them out of it
Changing the state of targeted matter and the wearer:
# Allowing targets and the wearer to phase through solid objects
# Rendering the wearer and targets invisible
# Accelerated healing of wounds, protection and treatment from viruses and biological attacks and certain surgical procedures including reattachment of severed limbs and digits. More advanced medical procedures may be performed manually and are limited by the wearer's knowledge of medicine. Lanterns can still do this via constructs of objects with that capability, although Pre-Crisis, a wearer could instantaneously reinvigorate limbs that had not been used in years, so someone bedridden for years could walk as though their muscles had not atrophied.
# Virtual shape-shifting by generating a hard-light holographic disguise around the ring bearer.
# "Digitizing" the wearer to absorb them into the ring where they can live in a wearer-generated "world" of their own nearly indefinitely.
# Pre-Crisis, a ring could alter a target or wearer's molecular size (including shrinking to an atomic level or growing to galactic sizes), evolutionary stage (such as turning a target human into an ape), or distort specific areas or the entirety of the body (such as slowing the Flash down by making his upper torso too large for him to run, or causing Arisia to age when she wanted to be older subconsciously).
# Pre-Crisis, a wearer could animate non-living matter and make the target do whatever he willed.
# Pre-Crisis, the rings could create a construct of a ring that a "non-Lantern" could use for 4 hours at a time (as opposed to 24) without a great effort of will. In the modern era, Guardians can simply create duplicate rings at will.
# Pre-Crisis, a ring could create multiple copies of its wearer if certain conditions were met; each copy had the capabilities of the original wearer.
# Pre-Crisis, rings could extract information from corpses. An example of this is shown in Green Lantern: First Flight Sinestro was able to "reconnect synapses" in the brain of a dead criminal in order to extract information via a kind of guided discussion.
Here some more major feats.

green lanterns awesome feats dealing with black holes.

They do still have it. It's a psychological weakness that effects your standard grunt lanterns hence why the Sinestro Corps killed so many of them.
Also, I've seen GLs get nosebleeds trying to hold back nuclear explosions, never ind supernovas and black holes.
Have you been reading the Green Lantern Corps series? There's a lot fo awesome feats in there.
Heck, in the first issue of the newer run we had no less than four Green Lanterns interacting with a black hole:
A newb Green Lantern who had literally just got his ring, fell in and was unharmed but couldn't summon enough willpower to escape under his own power. Then two slightly better GLs show up and are trying to rescue a ship caught in the pull of said black hole, again, they manage to rescue the ship but get pulled in themselves and their autoshields hold up just fine. Then Kilowogg shows up, yanks the ship and the two other GLs straight out of the black hole with no problem.
There are also feats of new Green Lanterns being able to close black holes with effort.
Kyle Rayner contained an exploding sun in a shield with a lot of effort in the DC 1,000,000 storyline. John Stewart and J'onn J'onz were caught in an exploding solar system and only the autoshields protected them because John was having a mental breakdown at the time. Gat Re took an exploding planet to the face while blinded and was largely unphased.
Heck, the combined GLC have a feat of containing a galaxy busting explosion during the Sinestro War.
Their shields are very high end and have some pretty awesome feats.
Captain Morgan is the guy to go to for more information because his knowledge dwarfs my own.
This goes back to what I was saying about consistency and GL ring usage. (I've also seen Superman hold a black hole in his hand before, and escape the pull of one, so apparently he wouldn't do too badly against one either!)
Hilarious that you mention the black hole in his hand feat wherein Superman was explicitly aided by a Green Lantern in doing so.
Nik Hasta: "I'm not a ninja dammit!"
Oh God, not this Superman vs Green Lantern debate again...
I swear El Mayimbe is Shazam. He's secretly 10 years old.

I believe they could make a decent Superman game if they wanted to. I even have an idea for one actually if people want to hear it.This makes me want a good Man of Steel game like the Arkham series.
I think that's the basic idea of how this sequel's gonna go.I'm hoping that this film can actually subtly reference or even partially introduce organizations from the DC universe...ARGUS, Checkmate, etc. I want to see some world building with more human-based characters as opposed to extraterrestrial ones.
I also want to see on how Superman's introduction to the world has really changed/made an impact, in some form, on all of these entities.
Up until now, everyone and everything have been able to stay in the shadows and remain in secret. Now, with superman having arrived and having saved earth from Zod, everything is slowly coming out in the open.
Heck, it would make sense if people started to check up on other urban stories of other heroes to see if they were actually true now that aliens are confirmed to exist

Go for it.
