No it's not a easter egg...it's cinematographer Larry Fong burning time on set by learning how to throw cards. If you go to his Instagram and look at the comments you'll see that it has nothing to do with Joker or Royal Flush Gang or Superman vs Batman.

I think Gal will have a neat costume, and perhaps it won't be the type of role that demands intense acting. So she might deliver.
