Any comparisons of Batman v Superman to Mountain v Red Viper?

When I was in the Navy...when I had to do my physical fitness tests I would wear a superman tshirt and listen to the John Williams theme during the mile and a half run....somehow i thought it made me run faster.

:funny: that's actually pretty cool.

No wonder I failed so many classes, I always wore Batman shirts.

I blame Batman!

You know what would make you run even faster? Listening to the Jaws theme.

I bought the under armor MoS. Started my 3rd round of P90X. Needless to say, it works:word:

I wanna buy one of those Under Armor shirts, just not sure who. I mean I think the Spider-Man one looks the best but Batman, Superman, Hulk, Wolverine, and Beast ones look great.

The downside is they are like 40 bucks each so I can only get one.

Part 59 already? Damn these these threads move fast!

At some I'll a superman Under Armour shirt,I just need to lose a little weight first. Just started working out again so I have a bit of gut that needs losing. I wish they had a Superboy design though I prefer black when I'm working out

When I was in the Air Force, during basic training, we had a chant we would do while running. The Drill Instructor would shout a line and then the squad would repeat that line. It went like this:

Me and Superman got into a fight!

In a deep, dark alley in the middle of the night!

I hit him with a left and I hit him with a right!

Then I hit in the b@!!$ with some kryptonite!

This was followed by a series of "Hoowahs" and "Feels good!" before we moved on to other chants (most of which I can't remember but am sure could not be repeated here).

I was reading the latest issue of a popular sci-fi magazine last night, and while reading the preview/interviews about ASM2 I was reminded of the similarities to that movie and BvS (even the original title for ASM2 had a vs in the movie title.) Since that franchise seems to be showing fatigue I wonder if the same will happen with Batman (and Superman) when BvS: Dawn of Justice eventually rolls into theaters in 2016 since much of the story is also similar (multiple characters/universe/world-building.)

Ha! Very kewl to have SM be used in military training. Thanks for sharing!

Stop wondering.

It won't.

There's no guarantee of that - after all in the lead-up to MOS people predicted all sorts of things too (which didnt come true.) What will be interesting when the movie finally is released is to see the figures domestically and internationally. But before then, much of the public would have already made up their mind about whether they want to see the film.

**SIGH** The sentient spambot is back...

I agree. There is absolutely no similarity between the Spiderman movies and DC-related films. First, the Trinity has never appeared onscreen together. May 2016 will be a historic cinematic moment. Plus, it never made perfect sense they were trying to world-build with Spidey anyway because it's only his world...while Marvel and WB/DC have tons of popular superheroes and supervillains to draw from.

Oh, and Spidey will gross more than 700 million at world box office. Regardless of how some fans feel about ASM2, something tells me Sony ain't crying into their pillow.

1. Jeff Robinov (who you will note no longer works at WB) made the billion-dollar prediction. It was hardly a universal prediction.
2. Man of Steel, being an origin film, did just fine in theaters (its earnings pretty much on par with the Phase One Marvel films). And as it has been said so many hundreds of times before, the movie made a killing in Blu-Ray/DVD sales. It still is. For a movie that apparently did so horribly in theaters, there sure are a hell of a lot of people who want to own it.
3. Another Spider-Man movie where Spider-Man fights another villain. The first time in cinematic history that Batman and Superman are on screen together. Pretty major distinction.
