Just think of the one glorious day where it will say 0 hours to go.

HOly ****...4:27 and same post. Fallen Angel, are you my long lost twin? :|

Wait... that Batman pic in the manip... is that the one they showed at Comic Con?

So there's a possibility Disney might make a run at WB.

Yeah, it's the "sad" Batman tease pic flipped, with the headshot Batman pasted on top of it.

It's a good photoshop, I was planning on doing that with a Batman manip.

Walt Disney

The prospect of combining Disney's Marvel with Time Warner's DC Comics might be too compelling to ignore, plus CNN would give Disney the cable news asset it lacks. Disney's market cap as of Aug. 8 was $149 billion compared with Time Warner's $63 billion, which gives Disney CEO Bob Iger more leverage than Murdoch might have had.

Google

The search giant most often is mentioned as a potential bidder, though Time Warner still has the historically awful AOL merger fresh in its memory. Still, Google has a track record of massive profits (unlike AOL at the time) and a hefty $385 billion market cap to back up a potential play.

Apple

As with Google, Apple's massive market cap ($567 billion), not to mention $38 billion in cash on hand, makes it an automatic potential bidder. Time Warner's giant library of film and TV content presumably would fit neatly into whatever plans the maker of iPads and iPhones has for its still-nascent Apple TV product. And, of course, iTunes always is looking for some video leverage as it goes to war with Netflix, Hulu and other online content services.

The only company / person I wouldn't mind buying Time Warner on that list is Google but I still don't want that either

All the others would just make me sad, but its really irrelevant because it looks like Time Warner has no interest in it

if Disney bought WB, and they kept the Marvel and DC universes separate, that'd be okay with me. There could be occasional crossovers, and maybe even a DC/Marvel movie at some point.

GUYS!!! HISHE did a "How the BvS Teaser should have ended!":DV:

Yeah, I've just read this about half hour ago too. It's interesting to think about, but Time Warner really isn't interested in being bought.

Yeah, and also Disney has enough stuff already. I don't see it happening, DC and Marvel are better off as separate rivals anyway.

A Disney Batman movie? Gross, no thanks
True. Yeah if all DC movies were done in the same style as MCU, I'd be disappointed. The DC movies need to be less comedic and darker imo than the MCU movies
