Anyone else think that the "Bat voice" may just be done in post-production, once filming's wrapped up? I'd like for Affleck to work on lowering his voice by the time filming's finished so that he could have a deeper, slightly huskier, voice for Batman as opposed to his voice for Bruce Wayne, similar to how Kevin Conroy portrayed the two in Batman TAS and varying the voices.

I don't really want any voice modification for Batfleck unless it's a very small amount but idk, it may just come across as too silly. He definitely needs a deep voice though, as deep as Henry Cavill's for Superman.

I can see Ben maybe doing some ADR in post to rough up the Batvoice a bit. Who knows though, he may have a good grasp on it for on-set use.

Ugh. When I heard this show was about Gordon and Bullock and pre Batman, I loved it. Looking at this, it's like how many villains can they cram.

Looks good though.

looks amazing. i personally don't think they're cramming too much in. the first ep was nicely balanced and the villain intros didn't feel forced

Looks beyond horrible. Im not even sure ill watch the rest of the season now. Everyones acting in that trailer is really corny and now there's Scarecrow and Zsasz thrown in? Why are they there this early? Especially Scarecrow?? When Bruce won't even be Batman for like another 12 to 15 years? Those villains sound and look terrible too. Ugh.

Now i REALLY can't wait for Batman v Superman to come so i can try to forget about this show. Just the idea of the new batmobile, Affleck and Irons in Dark Knight Returns mode, with some serious actors/writers makes me wish i wasn't so hard on it.

Completely disagree! I'm loving the **** outta Gotham so far, but I guess I'm easy to please when it comes to DC stuff. You just have to accept that Gotham is a new take on the mythos. Not everything will line up exactly with the comics.

I always thought we agreed on more shauner, your previous dig at DC sans Batman was disappointing!

Batman is the best character in all of comics by a mile, but I am not just a Batman fan, i am a DC fan.

To me Gotham is just another weird take on the DC Universe (and the Batman mythos too I suppose). My "definitive" Batman is hopefully coming with Batfleck, so I don't mind seeing something different in the meantime.
