Just Google'd a couple of manors.

Check this bad boy out:

Or something a bit more modest but just as Gothic:

That's more like it. I much prefer the lone, eerie castle in the middle of nowhere just surrounded by nature.

Getting to Wayne Manor should be a trip and an adventure. All the more highlighted by feeling swallowed in its presence.

Now those definitely scream Wayne Manor! More grand and castle-like.

How does Bruce keep the manor running with ONE elderly butler? That poor old man is not only doing all the house work, he's also doing the up-keep on the Batcave... Alfie deserves a raise.

Breaking news. Henry Cavill will not play Superman.

We have a replacement though.

Something in the style of The Biltmore Estate would be amazing!

I've always been for changing Alfred to a solely mentor role, rather than relegated to a house maid.

Super clever joke, bro.

Get it?? "Super clever"??

See, I can be clever too. :o

I'd like to think that Ben sneaks into wardrobe and secretly wears Cavill's suit when no one is looking.

Looks familiar...

:awesome:

Of all the possible suggestions in Michigan, I like the Henry Ford Estate the best. It's less castle-like and more early 20th century American mansion, which I think is most reflective of the look of the BTAS Manor. It looks like something trying to copy the chateaux and manors of Europe and more like the uniquely American home of a family of entrepreneurs and industrialists.

Just look at the gallery on the wikipedia page. It's just got something special and unique. Also love that the estate has its own private hydroelectric dam and power house. Good way to explain how Bruce powers the cave.

Looks beyond horrible. Im not even sure ill watch the rest of the season now. Everyones acting in that trailer is really corny and now there's Scarecrow and Zsasz thrown in? Why are they there this early? Especially Scarecrow?? When Bruce won't even be Batman for like another 12 to 15 years? Those villains sound and look terrible too. Ugh.

Now i REALLY can't wait for Batman v Superman to come so i can try to forget about this show. Just the idea of the new batmobile, Affleck and Irons in Dark Knight Returns mode, with some serious actors/writers makes me wish i wasn't so hard on it.

The problem by introducing so many characters so quickly is that unless its backed up by clever writing, it can come off looking a little forced.

I'd like to present this as exhibit A to the jury. Evidence that the news is incredibly slow and now people are relying on very bad (and already outplayed) jokes for conversation. I'll await the verdict, let's take a recess.

Completely disagree! I'm loving the **** outta Gotham so far, but I guess I'm easy to please when it comes to DC stuff. You just have to accept that Gotham is a new take on the mythos. Not everything will line up exactly with the comics.

I always thought we agreed on more shauner, your previous dig at DC sans Batman was disappointing!

Batman is the best character in all of comics by a mile, but I am not just a Batman fan, i am a DC fan.
We still do man, but im just not digging on this new Fox/CW thing or what they seem to have in store with Justice League, even though my mind may change in the future and im open to it. I havent seen the new gotham episode yet, i will tomorrow. But whether i like it or not, i have to admit that it's refreshing seeing Bullock, Essen, Montoya, Allen and Cobblepot. And even if i dont like the new Nygma, it's been almost 20 years since the last one.

While the first episode was a little all over the place. I thought the 2nd episode was a bit more steady and focused. Also Nygma did have one scene in the second episode and I don't think he said any riddles.

"I asked them, 'So, how about maybe taking the suit home at the end of this thing?'" the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star said during a visit to "Live with Kelly and Michael." "They were like, 'For $100,000 we could!'"

I liked the second episode. For one, it was a self contained story so we get setup and resolution in one episode. And the Penguin storyline is getting interesting already, I wonder how they keep him away from Gotham for a further 22 episodes.

Season 1 will only have 16 episodes.
