Anyway, I am curious about who is going to be costume designer... out of all films from DC slate, I want Wilkinson on this one the most. He does a great job in both aspects that would be needed - fictional period armor and weaponry and elegant dresses and female attire.

I personally do think Wilkinson will stay on as costume designer even if the other crew is changed. Especially since you rightly point out that WW is right down his alley!

The only other option I can viably see and be confident about from the off is Jany Temine who checks all the important boxes- regularly works on blockbusters (Spectre, Skyfall); has a wide enough range (Hercules, Wrath of the Titans, Gravity, Victor Frankenstein); and most importantly a long relationship with the studio (Harry Potter series).

What if all these rumours about Crimean War, WWI, WWII... is actually ALL of them being shown through time because of Ares? Maybe other Amazons, or Hippolyta, being tasked through time to help end the wars? It's something that could be on the plot and rumours could surface about the entire movie being set on those times, when it's actually all of them and not the main plot.

Difference is that he did Wonder Woman outfit and probably some amazon stuff if New Mexico is part of Themyscira.

Ayer didn't cause he didn't do any of the squads costumes before.

He finished on "Joy" a few weeks back so technically he's available for Wonder Woman. But I'm guessing he's prepping for JL1 now.

If he was a costume designer on WW that doesn't mean he's a costume designer only for Gal but the entire main cast. Costume Designer doesn't just mean superhero outfit's. So depending on how much of the Amazonian's are shown in BVS if they're are at all then he would have to be designing and making costumes right about now. He could just consult as Wolfie mentioned.
