Empirecity and boxoffice z guy

BOZ's word can't be trusted after he claimed he liked BvS before it was released and flipflopping his opinion after it was released because everybody else hated it.

Empire can go either way since posters on Box Office Theory have even admitted they don't agree with the guy all the time.

The last two pages prove without a doubt why DC fans have the reputation they have rights now online.

You are beyond salvation and you give your brand a really bad name...

I honestly cannot blame people for being on edge. I'm on edge and I've enjoyed every DCEU film thus far. Theres a ton riding on this movie and its WB's fault for putting so much pressure on it.

Placeholder, what's the point of holding reviews that long when early screenings take place on Monday, Tuesday, Weds. and the premiere is on the 25th.

This is the summer season. A lot of big movies are coming out. Releasing the reviews right now will create a buzz now but by the time the movie comes out it will be lost. The hype around it will fade. It also enables the studio to release all of the reviews at once and not have them trickle down every time there is a screening.

waiting a few days to week before the release is pretty standard...

The 31st is not a "few days" before the release of WW. Its a day before thursday previews.

A day.

Which is why its obvious to alot of people, that its a placeholder embargo and not the actual one.

He said BvS was a B+/A-, maybe better than TDKR. Thought it would review very well.

Now, he reviews Wonder Woman and claims it's the best DCEU movie (but that being so doesn't mean much) and was messy ... and that it will probably get 50-60 on RT.

Sorry, I simply can't trust in that.

Every week there is someone bringing this box office "guy". And now I just remembered that he's the same one who praised SS (Best DC movie!!!) and told lies about SW.

But now the critics/bloggers don't matter but random members from an unknown forum of course yes. :lmao:

It's a placeholder. They haven't announced yet when the embargo will lift.

I think I'm the fourth person to say it.

Exactly.

If you go back just a couple weeks ago everyone was worried that the marketing hadnt kicked up. Not just clickbaiters but some of the same posters here. They thought that since WB hadnt kicked it into overdrive that showed WB is hesitant and worried. Even when a lot of us pointed out that GOTG2 was coming so the buzz would be lost and they will kick it up after that everyone still was ready to panic. Then May hit and we see how things changed...

Now everyone is looking for the next thing to panic about. Some of us are trying to explain what you just said, using facts and logic instead of reading tea leaves and going by gut feelings and it is the same broken record.

I get being on edge (I am a little but just because I want to see the movie already) but looking for rationality in the chaos by ignoring the facts is just ridiculous. The critics reviews will come and we can worry about that then. How about we let them see it first though before we commit ritualistic suicide over it ;)

I agree with your point, which is what I'm saying..

I wont lie I thought you were posting something different too until the last line. Sometimes we read too fast and miss the point :)

As for Box Office Guy and Empire guy...why should I care what they "hear" or what they think? I would trust people around here before I would trust randos on some board I dont know. (and to be honest I dont trust any of us either ;) )

Dont trust anyone but yourself...and that goes for positivity and negativity. Form your own opinions :)

No one knows...since they havent announced a date that is just what is being said for now.

People need to relax about this...the critics havent even seen it yet. (well most of them) When they do WB can lift the embargo whenever they want. You all are wasting too much time trying to find reasons to worry...

There were plenty of reviewers. What about all these alternative facts today?

____

And if they're smart they will let "reviews" be posted just days before the release to keep the momentum a.k.a. the most common thing.

Now change the topic pls. I dont get this obsession Lorddd

Guys. WB NEVER has an early embargo lift. Ever. Stop making a big deal out of nothing.

I am pretty sure most critics from RT have yet to see it. A lot of the nerdbloggers/clickbaiters did but I trust those about as much as I trust my cat :sly:

(if I am wrong then mea culpa but my point still stands no reason to freak out until there is a reason to freak out)
