If they show a clip during that, it will probably be the same one shown for her appearance on the Today Show.
I, for one, can't see and fathom the biased hate behind Hathaway. She's a very talented actress and a down-to-earth individual. So this 'oh, she can't act' angle that a few people out there use baffles me. Anne's repertoire features much more than just The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada.
Love and Other Drugs, Havoc, Brokeback Mountain, Rachel Getting Married, Get Smart and Becoming Jane have long proven that she be sexy, charming, funny, witty, crazy, serious and dark. The girl has got range, but she's still viewed as this unsexy pre-teen to these 'critics', and I sense that'll never wash away even as Anne receives high-profile praise for her work in TDKR and Les Mes.
Eh... their loss really.
Please, whoever thinks Anne was overacting in the clip needs to get off their high horse and stop trying too hard to be a critic. 'Overacting' pretty much gets thrown around as the criticism of last resort these days.
I have friends who are die-hard fans of Anne who don't want to see her as Catwoman. I like Jennifer Aniston (who was quite good in The Good Girl and Horrible Bosses), but I wouldn't want her to be Catwoman either. And if we're only judging the actress by their range, then Catwoman should go to Meryl Streep.
That's awesome!I talked with Lee Mariwether today at Comic Con and although she didn't really explain too much on her opinions on Anne, she did say that she is very excited to see her playing Selina. Lee said "All the trailers I've seen show her too fast and I cant get a good look at her" but she loves they are doing that to keep it a surprise. She also said is very pleased that they are keeping the suit simple and giving a nice homage to the original. She is such a sweet lady.
Here is an autograph I got from her (I chose this pose because it reminded me of Anne at the safe in a similar pose) and then my friend took a pic of me talking to her and Erin Gray about Anne. Erin is excited too and thinks she looks "absolutely amazing."

Guess. What WOULD a late-night talk show host joke about if it's the final movie in a trilogy directed by someone who has carte blanche? What did Letterman say in the interview to spoil the ending?
Here's the TDKR clip. Blake interviews Selina. Thanks be to Redfirebird2008.
Yeah, I loved that part as well. Anne projects a confident, sure of herself attitude that's for sure.DAT EYE ROLL!![]()
Indeed, I'm overjoyed. Her facial expressions, the sound of her voice and her tone, body movement - the lot. I love how confident and forward she is - the comment where she mentions Bruce's pants floored me the first time and it always will. Anne is capturing the character of Selina Kyle so well its not funny. IMO she is Selina just as much as Heath was the Joker. The little harp notes that play right when she brushes her hand off Bruce's shoulder. Pure awesomeness.
I loved everything about that clip. It's pretty much everything I wanted to see in Selina Kyle and then some.![]()
An accurate assessment I'd say.Indeed, I'm overjoyed. Her facial expressions, the sound of her voice and her tone, body movement - the lot.
