Oh man the last 2 minutes was crazy. I kind of expected it, but still shocking.

During the episode Damien Darhk kept saying a name to Anarky, but I couldn't make it out. Ripton Zola? Anybody?

I'm glad that they really slowed down the episode apart from the beginning of the episode. Thea's storyline is definitely the most interesting and the part I enjoyed the most. I'm both happy and surprised that they are moving it on so quickly.

I liked getting more personal scenes between Laurel/Diggle and Laurel/Thea. Though I hate that we are already back to secrets! Especially with Laurel. Of course it won't be kept a secret for long but still. I'm glad that they acknowledged her not knowing what happened with Thea last season but I just hate that they have Laurel doing this after she has seen Thea go all crazy on Oliver and not really consult with Thea though I am surprised that she is down for it as well. The scene of them at Saras grave was eerie which was good and it was a good scene but I would've much rather Laurel open the box and Sara not be in there. Damien should've been the one to force Sara back to life to use against Quentin but of course the writers have to force Laurel do this. Of course it is a good question of "would you bring back a loved one if you had the chance to" but I can't really get that behind it since there are a thousand ways to do it better.

Felicitys storyline was ok but I found it weird that she was able to waltz in there after never being there and just take over. I wish they would have her see that there aren't always happy endings and ways around everything but I can already tell that they most likely won't be going that route.

I assume the story is to set up Mr. Terrific, so that's why they went that route (it wasn't a story about the need to fire people). To me, the odd thing wasn't that she was able to waltz in there, it's that it was so hostile. This wasn't the first time they met. They had been visually communicating through skype for months. To me, it was odd that it seemed like it was the first time they ever discussed anything.

Before I forget: am I the only who thinks that the intros for both Arrow and Flash ("My name is...") sound pretty lackluster this year?

I think they should just get rid of them and just keep the previous on.

People still pay attention to those?

Considering they happen at the beginning of every episode...yeah. Kinda.

That was awesome. The fights, the plotting, the comic nods, and the flashbacks all gave me that great 2nd half of season 2 ramp-up to the end greatness.

I think they should keep the opening speeches, but shorten them to something simpler, like maybe just make them, "My name is Barry Allen, And I am the fastest man alive." and "My name is Oliver Queen, after five years of hell I returned home with only one goal, to save my city"

I liked this episode a bit less than the premier, but there was still some cool stuff. I'm definitely liking this season a lot more than season 3, thus far.
-The team up action was very cool. Loved seeing all 4 of em drop down from the ceiling at the same time. And also at the beginning, where Laurel slides on the rope that Oliver fired.

Only thing I'm disapointed by is that flashback Oliver has short hair again...which he cut.

If anyone noticed, through the midst of the third season, Oliver's hair was starting to touch his shoulders, but in "Green Arrow", he's got the season 2 long hair again that was shorter than season 3's end.

I'm really hoping Oliver doesn't get off the island to go to Russia and return to the island once again. Unless...what I think might be more interesting is...if flashback Oliver this season does manage to get off the island again, but the only reason he returns to the island (as we see at the beginning of the pilot, he was on Lian Yu) is to stop a terrible threat from happening, or rescue someone from the island, and then remains there until the end of season 5 (in the flashbacks)...might be interesting if that way, Oliver learns to fly a plane. Maybe he has to learn to fly his way back to Lian Yu.

Being a fan of this show, I've always enjoyed the flashbacks and watch how Oliver evolved into becoming a hero, moreover seeing the tests he was put on, and decisions he had to make. As I was watching however, I was curious just to see his hair would grow longer and grow facial hair, hairier than present day Ollie...I've enjoyed the process, despite he never seems to grow that much facial hair after 3 years....but we know in the pilot, he has a fully grown beard and long hair by the time he leaves Lian Yu.

Apparently though, in the flashbacks, Oliver shaves off screen. Now they've completely ruined it. In that much time, can he really grow that amount of hair as shown in the pilot in two years time?

What's more annoying about this is the fact that we have to watch Oliver grow his long hair all over again. Why couldn't they have let him keep his long hair? They made a stupid mistake.

Back to present day, the only other thing that bothered me about this episode was "Oliver's one chance to make things right." The conflict with Oliver and Captain Lance continues. Speedy f***ed up again. Urgggggh.

Can't imagine how Oliver and Dig are going to be friends again.

As for the episode itself, it wasn't bad. I'm just distracted by those two things that bothered me therefore I cannot comment on the qualities that were good in this episode.

While I am enjoying the fresh take on the show, I am curious about the new Team Arrow safehouse if you'd call it that, and where is this one? It's not the same place under Oliver's old clubhouse was it?

I like this one over Ray Palmer's room.

I dug this episode. Some great Thea suff and Oilver running for mayor is great. I also like the slower pace this episode had going for it.

I believe it's the backup safehouse that was introduced in episode 21 of season 2.

Because Laurel and Thea have one of those, and would need one to get to the nearest spa resort.

Probably not Laurel but Thea still got that Malcolm money.

did anyone catch the GA year one scene? when those worker/slave doing something and a soldier hit them. It a homage to that comic

Didn't she give most of it to charity?
she didn't she said she still had alot more left from the billions Malcolm left and lets not for get Malcolm was still a live using it as well for him self to stay in hiding from the league of shadow. and before she was killed she was running the club and it was doing well enough with Dj dush B.... ahem nada par beats.

the point is the club was doing well enough and Oliver got some money thanks to that. so she was the one managing money for the family so we wouldn't the constant lip service that he had no money case, but had the gear with out proper Explanations.

this is what they need to do no more lip service and more doing something about it. after you cvome plain the first time unless it's a very important part of the story plot that will lead to some thing.

same with the security don't talk about it show it keeping showing turning that to the main entrences.
we had that enough with small ville.

I want automated security like turret arrow launchers and biometrics and motion scanners. and a freaking bouncer for the club or some guards for star labs using the anti meta human gear with automated security and trap capture device's

No more talky more showy

I'm loving crazy Thea and the team action is much better played then last season. I can't remember last time I gave a 9 to an episode, really liking it.

So far I think they are finding the balance between the drama and action, I mean, we saw Felicity feeling very guilty about firing all those ppl and Laurel kind of unsure about Sara, but it wasn't overplayed, overcried and got the story going.

The only thing I can't make out is Diggle's gun. Sometimes it seems he is really shooting ppl with normal guns, in some shots it seems it's a diferent kinda of gun (non lethal I mean). I hope they just drop one line or two so we know if he's giving non lethal shoots or if the gun is modified.

Can't wait to see Nyssa back next week!

I thought the episode was kinda odd. It wasn't bad , and I was still entertained, but it still was kinda weird at parts. I didn't realize Thea could beat Oliver up so easy, and the Felicity dialog and jokes seemed to fall flat alot of the time.

I do like the more mellow Oliver , and Damien Dark is cool. I don't like what they're doing with Lance or Diggle this season, but other than that, the episode was better than alot of the episodes last season.
