I hope so. Or I guess they can always tell some silly story about Ms. Spencer having a daughter who is also a lawyer and is also named after her.

If you actually look really close, he's not holding anything with his hands. What looks like a bow, is just random crap in the background.

I think one of the reasons why they haven't had Amell growing out the trademark beard for the character is because of the fact of how his character currently needs to look on the island flashbacks.

I think "Island Ollie" Season 5 is the closest we'll get to the traditional GA beard.

Or he could wear a fake beard as part of his disguise. That way he won't still look like Oliver Queen, who just happens to have a stubble like the Arrow.

I don't remember if Amell has any tattoos on his arms though. I know he does on his chest. If he has his arms exposed, then someone could immediately recognise the same tattoos on Ollie that they see on the Arrow.

I like his arms covered as well, but you have to think it'd be smart once Ollie adapts some kind of costume on the island, it should be sleeveless. Considering he is on an island. It's got to be warm.

Would people be up for the idea of Oliver using a "crossbow" as well on the series like how his SV counterpart used? Or do you guys prefer that he sticks to using his regular compound bow and that he throws whatever mini arrows/darts that he has with his own hands?

I could accept him using a crossbow as a backup weapon/one of last resort. I actually think that it works better than him just throwing stuff. The compound bow should always be his main weapon, that goes without saying.

I will say Smallville's GA was better equipped, his bow alone was miles better.

That''s true considering that the "quiver" on Smallville Green Arrow costume was just a slit on his back. I did like a lot of the elements of Smallville Green Arrow costume(different high tech bows for different purposes , high tech sunglasses which does seem weird wondering how can he run and dodge without it falling off). I hope the costume does get a redesign of sorts as each season goes on as they show his transformation from "Arrow to Green Arrow"(my favorite Green Arrow costumes were from Injustices:Gods among us, Smallville, New 52, Green Arrow Year One, Young Justice and the costume he had Post Brightest Day).

I was hoping Arrow would wear armor in the present. The early descriptions said he would wear black and green armor. That sounded very promising.

I don't get how he toss himself into gunfire without some type of armor.

Because there have been about 4 people in SC who have hit something without needing automatic weapons. And those 4 in order were Diggle, Quentin, Moira and Laurel. None of them are trying to kill Oliver, right now. Of course if Slade decides to go with guns instead of his sword Oliver is in trouble.

Editing to add, maybe there was 1 more person who hit someone but hell if I can remember. Most are like Shrapnel and cannot hit Oliver when he is standing still.
