The thing is, ratings are not that high, Supernatural has similar ratings after 9 seasons!! If ratings go down in a similar trend next season, we're talking less than two million, the Season 2 finale got 2.366 viewers (Season 1 finale 2.77). Is not surprising really, the Green Arrow character has never been that popular, he's often considered a poor man's Batman, it may not be fair, but that's how it is. Hopefully, ratings will hold up enough for the show to get to Season 5, since the original plan is five years anyway.

Pretty sure it still qualifies as their biggest show.

Supernatural has one advantage over arrow is syndication on TNT..

Demo ratings say otherwise.

8 out of the 23 Arrow S2 episodes were 1.0 or higher
16 out of the 23 SPN S9 episodes were 1.0 or higher

Vampire Diaries which was CW's biggest show for the last 4 seasons had 13 episodes of 1.0 or higher.

Supernatural is a really good show. When I was in college I was living with six other guys, some where girls, and everyone of them had never even heard of the show. Showed them an episode on Netflix and everyone of them started marathoning it. There were like 4 people watching it at the same time on different devices in the house. It was madness. Like Arrow but there isn't anyone in that show as charismatic as Ackles.

At comic con chile, Caity Lotz was asked whether she will be back in Season 3 of Arrow and she replied that she cannot talk about it since it's a secret. There were internet rumors around up fronts that her status will be revealed at comic con SD. And with her name in the official synopsis of season 3 and the silence maintained by the EPS after the finale , I think it is highly likely that she already is a series regular for season 3 and at comic con her status will be revealed along with something major for her character.
