We can always see a more classic depiction of Wildcat when The Flash inevitably travels to Earth 2.

anyone who read the GA comic......are they any specific issue that are good to read?

Anything by Mike Grell, his Longbow Hunter mini series was most like the show. Also the team up series with Green Lantern, by Denny O' Neil, Neal Adams and Grell in the later issues are probably the best.

Green Arrow Year One by Andy Diggle is really good if you want to explore his time on the island.

I don't know if Ted Grant is going to be Laurel's new love interest, but she will not remain single for long, that's how these shows work.

*Waits for the inevitable scene where Roy blurts out about how hot Felciity's mother is*

I don't know if Ted Grant is going to be Laurel's new love interest, but she will not remain single for long, that's how these shows work.

I think that's the main reasoning for the grumbling; it's a predictable move on a show that otherwise managed to subvert most expectations (Tommy dying instead of going down Smallville's Lex path, Ollie expanding his team repeatedly at a quick pace, the degree of Slade's turn as the bad guy.) And since it's predictable, we all feel its kind of a waste of time if it happens. And unfortunately, the show has set a precedent for subpar writing on the relationship subplots you know are coming.

Season One seemed like it was going to be a little different when Tommy and Laurel actually seemed to work as a couple and there was no chemistry from Oliver and Laurel. Then it came back to bite the show in the butt when they smashed the two character together with little preamble at all.

And I wouldn't be surprised if some of the worst romance-stuff was the result of a CW mandate being real or imagined in the heads of the writers. As has been said, they're comics guys. They know how stuff works. But maybe they feel obligated to produce tripe for a network with a reputation for it.

On a more humorous note, I'm now picturing Smoak Sr. being introduced hitting on Oliver, or alternatively making just s many innuendos and flirty remarks as her daughter, except she actually means them. Felicity had to get it from somewhere.

with Moira gone, i guess they needed to fill the milf quota :p

I hope they keep developing aspects of the Teen Titans mythos

I'd love to see an introduction to Jericho and Terra at some point. It should be easy to introduce them with Deathstroke already established

Well at least we now where felicity gets her looks from.lol though, for the love of all things sacred, keep her away from oliver since I don't trust the producers to not have them pork each other.lol

I had some thoughts about that. I feel Roy could handle a personal antagonist and that Slade is bound to have some sort of pseudo-sympathetic plot point if Joseph comes back. So I figure, why not take one of Deathstroke's very few recurring antagonists and one of Roy's as well, and use him to merge the two subplots? And they've already done a little testing with the water last season. I'm talking about Ravager, and not Rochev, but Grant, Wade, and Will.

Say one of the Deathstroke troopers deserted before the final fight. Maybe he was a convict from the Glades who had a personal history and beef with Roy. He knows he's a hot commodity, so he joins up with HIVE as Ravager and becomes their point man in Starling. Taking some time to fight Roy, he gets humiliated a few times and starts to have the hallucinations. Wanting to get rid of his serums side-effects, and get a little stronger, he goes after Deathstroke's family to force. Slade into helping him.

The personal grudge with Roy comes from Grant Wilson, and the targeting Deathstroke idea is to have some fun showing Slade what it was like to have a super-strong madman target a family member. Then maybe Joe gets injured (probably a throat wound) Slade goes after Ravager, and gives his kid a transfusion that has some strange kinks in it.

good ideas there godisawesome! anything they do to introduce more elements of Deathstroke's people and Teen Titans characters is fine with me

Grant, Rose, Joey and Terra should all be introduced

Joe Wilson will definately show up at some point on Arrow.....since he has been mention and eventually Rosa and Grant as well perhaps for season 4 with HIVE as the main antagonist

Colton did say and important DC character in Roy's history from the comics is coming on the show. i wonder who that could be? Do any Teen Titans characters have a history with Roy Harper?

Considering he was on the team for a number of years, yes. I'd wager Colton was talking about Cheshire if anyone.

I'm rooting for Brandon Routh. Hoping he's successful on the show.
