The Question would be nice since there the Huntress connection.......the atom is not interest enough to have an own show and would be a disaster

3. Laurel’s Black Canary mask has her between a rock and a hard place.
It’s no secret that to avenge the death of her sister, Laurel’s taking up her mask to join the vigilante brigade. But what does that mean for her relationship with daddy dearest, Detective Lance, who still thinks Sarah’s alive, well and fighting crime? “It puts Laurel in a really difficult, tough position. Being Laurel and Lance being aware that Black Canary is back on the street. He’s going to Laurel and saying ‘how can I get a hold of your sister?’ She doesn’t know how to tell him. what to tell him,” revealed Cassidy during a post-panel scrum. She added, it won’t be Oliver or Team Arrow members that she runs to for help. “She actually goes to Nissa to get advice and asks her what she thinks. But what she decides to do…?”

5. Olicity fans are not going to be happy when Arrow returns
With the overwhelming “Olicity” shipping that’s occurred on social media, it seemed like their collective efforts were willing any intimate moment with Oliver and Felicity into existence. Were the EPs just going with what the fans were tweeting for? Or was romance always in the cards for Ollie and Felicity? “When we started there was no Felicity. Stephen and Emily had this very natural chemistry that we started writing towards. There wasn’t this grand plan to get these two characters together,” said Guggenheim. “It’s great that the fans on Twitter have embraced that relationship but we chart our own course.” And that course is not going to be celebrated by Olicity fans. “There’s a scene at the end of episode 12, it’s Emily’s strongest performance on the show,” Guggenheim said adding that he’ll have to get off Twitter due to all the discourse a few moments will bring.

Robert Knepper (Clock King) and Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Waller) are both in History channel's upcoming miniseries "Texas Rising".

You can see both of them in the trailer. Looks good.

Thanks for the heads up about this, this is the first I've heard of it. Looks like a great cast!

That second part pleases me greatly. Thanks for this.

yeah but that is on CBS.
It's been confirmed that they'll be able to cross over though, so it'll at least be in the same universe.

I'm very skeptical that we'll get another superhero show on the CW soon. They said the reason they passed on Supergirl was that they didn't want to become one thing. So wouldn't that mean they passed on the show because they didn't want to become the DC channel? I doubt we'll get another DC show while Arrow and Flash are still on air.

What would the angle be though? Don't want to see Vancouver stand-in again.

Hopefully they change the formula a bit more. Something like Fringe would be cool. Investigating scientific accidents and stuff.

Arrow is probably ending in two more seasons. Flash has higher demos.

They said that are wanting to expand the universe more with another show. I think the want at least 1 more show.

I doubt it will be ending it that soon. They've said they have a five-year plan but that doesn't mean they have to stop at 5. Supernatural just got renewed for an 11th season too, so I don't think The CW will have any plans on ending Arrow anytime soon, they'll probably keep it going for awhile.

They didn't say when. I'm willing to bet that third show won't be until Arrow ends.

Did they make those comments recently? Is there any way they were referring to the Vixen animated series as the expansion of the universe?

They won't be waiting for the show to end to start another one, especially when they are getting good ratings with them.

I highly doubt that. I would be surprised if it did. But CW will keep it at least 7 seasons.

Yeah, but I think they want to replicate Flash's upbeat style and Arrow's universe won't allow it.

Palmer so far is more in the Flash mold. Atom wouldn't be ready until Arrow is in season 4 so they would have a year to see how Atom does to make a decision.

Cw is a channel that is happy to have shows run for as long as they want as long as the ratings are good. Smallville lasted 10 seasons, Supernatural 11 seasons, Vampire Diaries is probably about to have a 7th, I think if the writers have the ideas for Arrow beyond a 5th season we could easily be looking at a 7-8 season show.

so i guessing Arrow-The Flash world be featuring more metahumans.......so I guess we will see Arrow fighting metahuman in future season? no more of being realistic/grounded

It doesn't have to be either/or.

I guessing the writing for the second half will be better.....of course they not resolve every plot hole and weak dialogue and all that. Usually second half is better even if there is a few strong episode in the first half..... for example, AOS first half is not as strong as the second half so I think Arrow will do that.

I agree. I'll be very surprised if the second half isn't stronger.

I say introduce the Question, and give him a spin off, or at least a mini series.

Seconded.

Pass on the Atom show...

If it'll only be as good as The Flash, count me out as well. I like Routh, but not that much.

Oooo. That could either be very good or very bad. Either way, the fan reaction is bound to be entertaining.

I fear that a massive drop in quality is inevitable if they keep the series running for too long. Both SPN and TVD are perfect examples of such.

I think the challenge would be attractive to a confident set of writers, to try and work on The Atom. I wonder if the hype of the upcoming Ant-Man movie, with the trailers generating buzz, might be a motivation in pushing forward a character that's already been introduced to the audience.

I could see the higher ups thinking about that. And, you tell any creative team to work on a character like The Atom, and they'll say yes. He does have a lot of history, too, he was created by a group of DC Comics legends.

That's what I was wondering about. I'm not familiar with Atom at all, but aren't his powers similar to Ant Man?

In the sense they shrink, yes. But Atom can get smaller, do more ****. And he killed Darkseid. So there's that.

The idea of an Atom show worries me. Apart from just not finding the character to be interesting on this show, I feel the quality on Arrow dropped around when they started working on Flash and I hope that an Atom show wouldn't cause the same to happen with Flash.
