Pretty much what I expected to hear.![]()
I'm sure this has been discussed, but doesn'tmake no sense based on what Felicity said about the arrow trajectory and what not to explain how Roy threw them?Thea being the killer
With how much I hated Roy, I'm not too mad to see Thea with someone else.Oh ****, not that ****ing DJ lame-ass again... Oh for ****s sake...![]()

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed the video of Thea killing Sara is fake and the real killer is Ras who is working with Merlyn. That'd be a twist.
felicty said the arrows came from a downward trajectory which would explain roy throwing the arrows because if they came from a bow they'd be straight on. Another poster had brought up in that episode that he hopes that isn't something they just forget for the real killer and made up to make drama for the roy episode. That seems to be what they did thoughExcept you are forgetting the similar height thing.
I hope so! Even if Thea was a junior champion archer, I don't see how a few months of training with Merlyn and being drugged would make her capable of killing Sara who had trained with the League for years and had ordinarily been shown to be an extremely competent fighter, including defensive techniques.
Sure, Sara was surprised to see her old boss/ex-boyfriend's sister on the roof, but Thea was acting creepy and dressed in a League of Assassin uniform. Surely that would have raised Sara's hackles and led her to assume some kind of defensive measure instead of just standing there and allowing herself to be shot full of arrows.
As one can tell, I still have some residual issues about the manner of Sara's death.
hi MG, there's something that's been bothering me... In several junkets and press interviews there has been talk about LL "becoming her sister". I'm alright with her taking on the mantle and honoring Sara, but I have the feeling the "becoming her sister" is being taken very literally. I hope you are not trying to replace Sara with Laurel. You've gone to great pains to stress they're not the same Hero and it'd be insulting to both characters. I hope you do them justice.
No, it’s more like living up to her sister’s legacy. I think 3x13 will shine a lot of light on this.
Please answer this! Do you plan on just recasting Wild Cat then? If not, how is Laurel going to be trained??
Oh, we’ve got a plan…
Marc Laurel knows the feelings that Felicity and Oliver have for each other? Is aware of it? Mmm never answer me?

In my mind, she’s aware of it. In fact, we had a line to that effect in a future episode but had to cut it for time.
The producers teased that the three episode run is very much a showcase for Laurel as she makes her debut on the mean streets of Starling as Black Canary. But determination and a few boxing lessons don’t make a hero: “She clearly doesn’t have Sara’s skill. Sara was essentially Oliver’s equal in a lot of ways. She literally went through the same exact experiences with him and then trained under Ra’s al Ghul,” Kreisberg pointed out. “Half of being a vigilante is, as Nyssa [Katrina Law] would say, being fearless. As Laurel says, it’s being crazy. Right now she has the crazy in spades. The thing about Laurel is — for people who are concerned that she’s going from zero to Black Canary — just because you put on a costume and a mask and run around doesn’t make you anyone else’s equal. She gets stabbed, she gets her ass handed to her, but the thing that’s amazing about Laurel is she just keeps coming and it doesn’t matter how many times she gets knocked down to the mat. And believe me, she gets knocked down to the mat, but she keeps coming back and she won’t be stopped.”
He added, “What’s interesting for her character is all of this started because she wanted to avenge Sara. Her arc of the season is really going from avenging Sara to honoring her… A lot of the back half of the season is Laurel and Nyssa finding common ground. When we met [Oliver] in the pilot he had already trained. We’re going to get to see that evolution with Laurel.”
That's weird, I wonder why.

I'm still processing tonight's episode, but wanted to mention something that it pretty much helped me realize:
This series is not - and has never been - anywhere near as "grounded" or "realistic" as people believe it to be.
There IS a heavy influence from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy present in the show, but only in terms of the way that it looks; in terms of its actual content and the way that it presents its storytelling, it reminds me far more of the tone and approach established by Tim Burton in Batman and Batman Returns (and carried over into Batman Forever by Schumacher).
Yo man just cause she Dropped his name doesn't mean she met him man she had people looking into Merlin's past some how they found that name but I doesn't think those people that found Ras Al ghol name for her went any farther then that for her. other some body would have been set back to her or a other nasty visitor be side Malcolmb which he's hate him self as well.I surprise that Ra's did not mention Oliver mother at all during their meeting......would be great to know how Moira knows the head of league of assassins. That cannot be forgotten since she is one of the few links to Ra's and exposing merlyn is alive to him.
