Anyone else feel like they resolved the mystery of Oliver's "death" too soon on the show?

I'm actually more curious now on why Makeo (I think that's his name) even joined the LOA now that it's been revealed that this wife was alive all this time The impression that was given in the last episode indicated that he had joined the LOA after assuming that his wife was killed.

I thought the same thine, I bring it up in my review (https://otlnews.wordpress.com/2015/01/22/arrow-review-s3-ep-10-left-behind/)

It was awesome to see Roy and Diggle do their thing but having Ollie back immediately undercuts their emotion and means he will be back sooner rather than later. They should have kept him dead for atleast another episode.

I'm pretty sure it's the son that gets killed and they both go their separate ways after that.

I'm just a little confused because I had heard previously that Devon Aoki had to drop out of the show, and that's why Maseo ended up being the one in the League, and she was the one who was assumed to have died.

Diggle so needs a mask.
Especially now that he has a daughter & plans to merry the momma again .

it's beyound over due among other stuff.

Other wise he'll have two sort's of nasty visit's besides team arrow's poor security HQ called the Arrow lair that's to easy to walk into by most of the enemies that found them. lol. oy :(

maybe he in the LOA under Amanda's order being her eyes and ear in the organization who probably use his son to force him to do the job.

That's really disappointing to hear, I'd love to see her pop up again. :csad:

He's gonna be the one to save the day from the league of assassins when they attack Starling.

When all hope is lost, he will put on some beats and the league will stop what they are doing to bust a move. Then the heroes will take that opportunity and defeat them.

I think after Oliver coming back alive and Ra's being over 100 years (probably)....the show is no longer realistic and grounded like the Nolan films......clearly we could see metahuman in the future but limited to retain that realistic feel.

My guess Brick is not normal but not a metahuman either.....somehow his skins is able to stop the bullet since it just hit him with not much of a impact?

Tatsu Yamashiro isn't being played by Devon Aoki, she's played by Rila Fukshima. Devon dropped out prior to the start of the season.

Also, at Herolee, it's Maseo.

Like I said above, it never was (something that last night's episode -and hindsight - helped me realize).

If you need proof, look at how easily they integrated The Flash into what they'd set up. Nothing about that character - or the approach that's been taken on his show - feels in any way out-of-place, which would very much not be the case if there were truly a Nolan-esque tone to Arrow and its storytelling approach.

Yeah, I realized that foolishly last night after I made the post. So I guess the writers are actually going in the direction they wanted to with that story. I wonder if this means Katana will be coming to Starling later on.

Katana is a great character, if she comes to Starling when Ollie returns, she could train Laurel to become a better fighter... and a couple of years later, a Birds of Prey spinoff. :word:

flashpoint is happening. Gustin back in August. He continued, "What the coolest thing about that moment, to me, is they're setting up the fact that the Flashpoint story line [from the comics] could potentially happen — that Speed Force could be an aspect and time travel is potentially a part of the show http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...or-time-764755

How would Flashpoint work in the Arrowverse without the rest of the league? I mean, I guess I could see Olivers dad being a more violent Arrow and then maybe Atom could play Cyborgs role... but what about Wonder Woman and Aquaman? Stopping the war was a pretty big plot point. Also, I doubt this would actually retcon the universe like the comic title did. Im interested in seeing how this works.

replaced aquaman with tempest and wonder woman with barda

I don't think he meant Flashpoint specifically, just what it did and how Flash was a major player in the story.

Flashpoint would be pretty awesome to see, I feel like that would be more deserving of a miniseries on its own as the other shows took a break. and with SuperGirl getting a show now it can be even cooler to see how she fits into everything.

As for Arrow itself, the show is cool in its own right but Flash is way more fun. I know you want to differentiate tones but being dark and brooding 90% of the time can get tiresome. Last episode was great until the end, just undercut all of that emotion for me.

Flash FTW lol

Thomas Wayne also played important part.
A flashpoint universe where: Oliver shot himself instead of his father(father is now arrow). Atom is the main hero of the universe. Citizen cold. Firestorm doesn't exist.
