I worry that Laurel being Black Canary will be a further hinderance to Roy and Digg's screen time.:P

Have the creative team made any mention of Oliver having to face a few meta-humans as the series progresses?

It wouldn't make sense for them to only hit Central City.

Well,I'm pretty sure she'll cut into Roy's screen time. Probably especially after Ollie comes back.

Assuming if Brick's head being able to easily take a bullet to it was done on purpose, then Brick would be a good villain to start with when it comes to low level metahumans.

The "grounded" approach is what made me look at Season 1 was a joke. It was just trying to be way too damn serious, I had to laugh at times.

Season 1 was better than this season IMO, more consistent. Too gritty? Well, that's the tone of the show, if you prefer less serious or superpowers, that's another thing. The problem with Arrow is the lack of consistency, this season has been a mess with all the nonsense regarding characters' actions and Oliver's "death" fiasco. Hopefully it will get better in the upcoming episodes.

From a story standpoint there is no reason to. To kill off her or Diggle would only be for shock and just create a repeat of the sad-Ollie story we had with Sara and Tommy. I'm hoping Arrow starts to curb its death rate soon.

I doubt they'll kill off any of the comic superheroes (Roy, Laurel). I doubt Diggle will get killed until they settle the story with his brother. I doubt anyone will get killed, but Felicity is actually the most expendable and it's one way to resolve the issue of whether Ollie ends up with Laurel or not.

I just rewatched Unthinkable and I realized that if they every want to bring back Isabel Rochev (and give Summer some more to do...) they have a way to do so. If you watch the fight scene carefully, you'll see she was never hit with the cure. They could say the Mirakuru allowed her to survive her broken neck and that once she got to the coroner's office (or something) she escaped and left for somewhere else.

I kind of wish that they would at least get Roy a new bow. The bow that he has right now looks like the one that I have, which only cost me $300. Compared to Oliver's one, it looks rather cheap.
