Just catching up on the episode now, but I am incredibly disappointed with their "explanation" of how Oliver survived. That was awful. It's not only incredibly stupid, it's bad writing. And now, instead of making the mid-season finale a great shocking moment that could have lead into an interesting addition to the story surrounding Ra's, it cheapened the finale into nothing more than superficial shock value to get people excited.

It honestly was bad enough that I don't know if I want to keep watching this episode right now. I'm incredibly disappointed with that decision.

Thank Christ that kid is [blackout]in the League[/blackout]. I was afraid they were wasting screen time on some prettyboy whose sole purpose was to bat his eyelashes at Thea and play songs on his iPod.

Well, you can't say that the LOA isn't serious about their business. I mean to go as far as having one of their recruits actually become a legitimate DJ is pretty extreme when it comes to alias. haha

Still surprised that Team Arrow didn't think that they they had someone else to call for some support during this time...

Hmm. Well, an otherwise good episode was severely soured for me by two things.

1.) The Laurel lying to her Dad thing is just dumb. Even a ten year old could see that what she's doing is only going to make the eventual realization worse.

2.) As I said earlier, the incredibly, INCREDIBLY stupid cop out with Oliver's survival. That one moment has severely turned me off to not only this past episode, but now this entire season. It's completely ruined what was one of my favorite mid-season finales. I'm really disappointed in the laziness of that writing.

Well let's not get crazy here. The kid is playing songs off his iPod. :o

I like to imagine that the LOA trains every member to be a DJ just in case. :oldrazz:

Isn't that what all the hip new DJs do nowadays?
some still use records well the really skilled ones do any way. but they do use the ipods too.

Like I said in another thread about the timeline, I think Arrow is taking place closer to the time of the mid-season finale, whereas the Flash is taking place over a month later. I believe Barry sort of went off the grid to some extent as he trained to get faster. So it's probable that Barry was so consumed with his own issues that he felt he couldn't afford to get away from the city.

Well I kind of wish that they would better establish that since I don't think that I'd be the only fan asking this question.

It really doesn't need to be established but alright.

i am fine with it being more separate. Really don't want or need more than 2 cross over episodes a season.

Anyways, I really hate everything to do with Laurel. They did well making Felicity look like life has been taken out of her. next weeks episode looks pretty cool with the street brawl and ollie ziplining in lol

I'm expecting things to line up more properly by the time Ray goes to Flash. Although I believe that episode will be after the wedding episode they were filming today. I wonder if that means episode 18 won't feature the Felicity or Ray, leaving more of a chance to focus on Ollie, Laurel, Roy, Thea and Malcolm, assuming Diggle is away on a honeymoon.

Ray's also the only one I see as taking over as head of star labs also when Dr. wells finally reveal's he's the revers flash or one of the reverse flash's . well until the first blue beetle is introduced

Does anyone else feel like Team Arrow is getting too crowded as it is? Or do you guys think that the group has the perfect amount of people attached to it now?

I think it's fine now with the people attached to it.

it's not crowded how ever I do think that the team of writers will have to diversify stories more like have something for each character like split into smaller teams have them create stuff for each character they are to focus at . I'm not sure they can handle it since they like to concentrait on Ollie or what ever triangle he in or someone else is in.

I don't think Onsomble cast are strong suit.

Oh that's besides villain of the week or month or over all season deal too.

I think it has the perfect amount. 5 people isn't that many. 1 isn't in the field at all, Diggle is kind of 50/50, we'll have Arsenal/Arrow/Black Canary mainly in the field.

I think with Laurelits good and shouldn't get bigger. With her joining, I think the stories will flow more smoothly. My biggest issue this season was too many characters and storylines that were too far apart and are only now getting connected. I know Laurel may have had a romance with Ted, but with him gone it leaves one less side arc so hopefully Laurel can get included in things more now instead of being the odd man out.
