There are Arrow figures?

And, are they equivalent to MM from the Nolan trilogy or those weird half figure/half statue things DC does like for the Watchmen movie that sucked?

Did someone say jumping the shark? :o

GUGGENHEIM: I know I’m prone to hyperbole, but no one is expecting where this is going. This show, I would say in Episode Fifteen, it takes such a hard left turn that no one is going to see it coming. It’s probably one of the biggest surprises we’ve ever done, probably because people are expecting a certain kind of story, and we have a different kind of story in mind.

I have faith in our fans, I have faith in our audience that they’ve got faith in us. And I know people are Tweeting, “We’re worried,” and it’s like, “Why are you worried?” Yes, the show is going to do something crazy and radical, but one thing we’re all always saying is, “It’s Season 3. We can’t repeat ourselves in Seasons 1 and 2. And we have to push the envelope.” And it’s a dangerous game. I have a lot of respect for shows that have jumped the shark, because jumping the shark is the result of – you need to push the envelope without tearing the envelope, and it’s very hard, because you don’t know where the line is. But you have to trust your gut and trust your instincts, and Greg, Andrew and I, we all trust each other’s instincts. It’s good that there’s not one of us in a room alone. We have each other as checks and balances.

The great thing that FLASH has done and the crossover has done is, it’s introduced, in the most organic way, superpowers and the wondrous into the more grounded world of ARROW. We started off ARROW – we had zero plans for superpowers. When we said, “No superpowers,” we really meant it, but, “Wait a minute, we’re going to do FLASH.” Is anything off-limits? No. I think the question has changed. It’s now not, “What can we do?”, it’s “How can we do it in a way that honors that world that we have established?”

AX: Is the question also, “Where do we do it?” or is it like, “No superpowers, it’s on ARROW, with superpowers, it’s on FLASH”?

GUGGENHEIM: I think we started the season off with that dogmatic sort of division and I think we’ve all – Greg, Andrew and I – collectively softened on that. We always had a plan for this year in terms of the Atom, in terms of the world of Ra’s al Ghul. And again, it’s just feeling what feels right. I’m sure there’s a way to do GREEN LANTERN in the world that we’ve created on ARROW and FLASH. How and when and why that happens, part of it’s a creative thing and part of it’s what is D.C.’s plan and certain decisions get made way above our heads. We’re very happy with the characters we’ve got right now.

AX: So far, flashbacks have been part of ARROW’s structure. Are you going to run out of back story, or is that going to be a feature forever?

GUGGENHEIM: It’s not a question of running out of back story, it’s a question of running out of time. We’re doing each year of flashbacks in five-year increments. If the show goes beyond five years, we’ve got to come up with a game plan. We just got picked up for Season 4, so we’re not quite at the point where we have to worry about this yet.

So, what will happen in episode 15? Ra's sends a resurrected Tommy to kill Malcolm?

Since they jumped the shark already with Oliver's "just badly hurt" nonsense, ep. 15 will just give us more jumping sharks. :oldrazz:

Yes. They're equivalent to the Movie Masters from the Batman trilogy which were made by Mattel in terms of design and articulation. I'm not sure the scale is an exact match though.

Here is a quick summary of those which have been or will be released:

They're also releasing The Flash. And they've teased Captain Cold.

Isn't this the episode that Slade comes back? Maybe Shado comes back too...

He obviously has not seen shows that have jumped the shark. I can't think of a show that jumped the shark and was still considered "good".

But I am glad that they got themselves out of that corner they backed themselves into in S1/2 with no "superpowers".

So future season we could see "superpower" because keeping it realistic really hard to do especially the lack of GA villain......

I don't know how to feel about Guggenheim's comments. With the way the season has been going, I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle another major twist.

Especially because the hero dies, yet returns a couple weeks later with a weird limp, and only a bandage to what looks like a minor wound even though he got stabbed elsewhere right his body and fell a few stories down a mountain.. :whatever:

The Laurel keeping Sara's death from her father thing, Arrow's "death&return" have been really week points of this season so far. Makes me question the writers. Other than that this season has been fun. Loving Laurel becoming Canary, Roy stepping up as Arsenal. Felicity is a weak link now unfortunately for me.. She's just whiny, which was Laurel last season.

What if Katana used a little Lazarus Pit juice on him, and is hiding that from Oliver so he doesn't get angry... thinking he might go crazy or be 'tainted' be the fountain of Ra's?

Hmmm how would ollie be mad about that? when he doesn't know of the Lazarus ptis existence first of all , second of all if she did he would have scared ether her or husband if they survived not being killed by ollie which is rare & her hubbie would be i recovery with ollie would have bee able to take on Ras's Assassin's as we saw before he told them to leave for starling while he lie to Ra's. then there's the issue of Oliver's judgement of right and wrong where someone would asked to be saved by him and he let's normal citizens of starling die which will be way later or not giving damn of thea dies or not.

So far ollie seems normal. other wise when katana was worry about her husband ollie wouldn't have bothered to give her hope saying her husband was still her husband.

He would given that weird answer Ra's gave to Nyssa about not giving a damn about sara's death "he just want's Malcolm dead ." Do far as you state if Oliver were to worry ad freak out about that he'd have to know of the existence of the pit & how it works .

Also Oliver would have to not be acting normal at all.

I think Episode 15 goes back to last year in June with this quote from EP AK ""The Villain of Season 3 tells Arrow 'what's holding you back from fulfilling your true destiny is being Oliver Queen." Something shocking will happen and it should be not be a theory/prediction we already can predict like Oliver join the LOA.....

Just saw this behind-the-scenes picture:

Looks like Syn is back? Yay :D

Don't know why but I really miss the little detective club of Roy, Thea and Syn...

http://www.greenarrowtv.com/oliver-...icity-kissed-barry-plus-more-vixen-talk/21476

In a new interview at Assignment X, Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that Oliver will find out that Felicity and Barry Allen kissed in the Flash episode “Going Rogue” – which is something a lot of folks had been wondering about.“There’s actually a question I’ve been getting on Twitter a lot – is Oliver [Stephen Amell] going to find out that Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] kissed Barry [Grant Gustin]? That’s actually going to happen in the Vixen cartoon,” Guggenheim said.

Could Vixen ever become a live-action show? “One of the things we say is, ‘Never say never’,” Marc said. “If the character resonates with people, that would be wonderful. I would love to be in a position where CW said to us, ‘Hey, we want a Vixen live-action show.’ We’ll have to see how things play out, but we really want to produce the highest-quality animated series. We want people to come to this who don’t normally watch an animated show. We want fans of The Flash and fans of Arrow to come to CWSeed.com.”

I don't understand why do they cater to "tumblr crowd" so much? Are they afraid to alienate them and lose viewers or something? I'm sorry but if the majority of your viewerbase is obsessed only with pairings, then you have failed this city.

I want Ryan Gosling to grab Guggenheim by the shoulders and say "Be better than Tumblr. Marc, be.. better.. than Tumblr."

GA not having a good rogues gallery is a myth...the pity is that even comic book writers believe it. That way they never dig deeper (with rare exceptions) when a cool villain is created.
The problem on Arrow is that many of the really good GA villains where downplayed to become one-shot freaks of the week.
I once made a list (oh the irony) with all GA villains they could use or have used...

There's:
-Merlyn (here the show gave us a much better background story and motivation than the comics have ever done)
-Brick (I'm liking the portrayal and the 3 episode arc-thing because he really was one of GAs best villains ever)
-Onomatopoeia (is that the right spelling?): Seriously this one was so cool that creators took him away from GA after one story arc and let him become a Batman villain...the showrunner wanted to do him in S1 and then got afraid because Kevin Smith (as creator of the character) said it wouldn't work in live action...I think it could if you portray him as very creepy and crazy blowing up stuff then quetly saying "boom" for example
-Constantin Drakon (killed in the pilot)...this seriously angers me...I still hope they say the pilot Drakon was a relative or something or a copycat to introduce the superior comic counterpart
-Vertigo (they just can't seem to get his motivation or his power-set right...)
-Clock King (no complaints here)
-Cupid (I don't like her either but she has some potential as a Harley kinda character)
-Deathstroke (despite what people say...DC was pushing him to become a GA villain way before the series starting with identity crisis...in the new 52 the trend seems to be continued by having Slade kill Ollie in the Future of FuturesEnd, saying he would have done it for free...implying that they will become enemies at some point in this continuity too)
-the CIA (yeah you read that right) they made Ollies life hell during Grell's run forcing him to do their dirty laundry...the show kinda shows that with Argus...though I still wish Fyers would have been a present day bureau killer who then turns sort-of-ally instead of the flashback mercenary
-Shado seriously misused in the series
-Komodo (if they want to adapt something from the new 52 Komodo's story and the whole Outsiders arc would be awesome...but again...wasted as a freak of the week)
-Isabel Rochev/The Queen (I didn't see the need for her to become Ravager or to die...instead of having Palmer as CEO of QC it could be Rochev...the pre-52 continuity ended with her as CEO controlling much of the cities private security after the city was attacked (I mean they prectically wasted an opportunity here after S2))
...
I could go on and on

Ok this turned out longer and whinyer then I wanted it to be but my point is: They wasted much potential. Some of these villains could have been season long threats (some like Slade were) or could be constant pains in Arrow's quiver during the whole series' run. Some have powers, many don't. If the writers chose wisely they would revamp some of these characters and let them come back stronger (seems to be happening for Cupid who in my opinion is the character with less potential). GA really isn't short on storylines in 70 years of history. (Don't let me start with my: I-want-him-to-be-poor-and-find-his-true-calling-in-helping-the-little-man)

What does getting punched in the mouth have to do with anything?

He wouldn't be shooting those arrows as well during combat.
