I'll never get how it supposedly destroyed anything because Felicity started being a real person with real emotions instead of a geek girl one liner cypher.
The thing is, right now, her character has been reduced to nothing but Oliver's love interest. Every scene with her has her either crying about Oliver, or having someone tell her to fight for Oliver. That's not growth. Every other character has shown growth this season, but the romance plot has stopped any growth that she may have had. There have been moments for her, but it always come back to her and Oliver.

This is a general rule for any show and romance, it's okay as long as the show does not revolve around it. There's a reason why B-plot romances, like Roy and Thea, has been more successful.

Please just let Laurel be a kick ass Canary next season, maybe with one date that runs in the background, nothing major, but not with Oliver.

If they want to have them togheter, do it after season five, so it's been a really long time after the whole Sara coming back, hooking up with Oliver, spliting, dying and all the drama with Felicity. Oliver and Laurel would've been through a lot as friends and crime fighter partners, then maybe start developing something but a really slow build.
The feeling I have is that in order for Laurel to ever have a chance with Oliver, Felicity has to die or disappear in the same vein as Lana and Clark. They're putting themselves in a similar corner where they're pushing this too hard and it's not going to end well. I really don't see Oliver being in a happy relationship for a full season so I see Olicity ending by next season, but if they're so worried about losing that fan base, it might be forced for much longer.

Just because it has happened in the books they don't have to do it, and I'm still hoping for Canary to lead a BoP spin-off with Katana, Huntress and Nyssa.

I would love a proper BoP show to wash away the former, though I wouldn't want one if they couldn't use Barbara.

Since Barbra's in the live action titan's show cast on TMN, I hope there's chance since it's own by Warner & they 'll can do what they plan with super girl doing a cross over with flash seriously the super irl live show is on CBS.

If they can do that they ca do that with the titans too, or should be able to.

so they can be in the same universe.

Lest we forget.
Oliver has a son to be named later.
5 island years + 3 seasons so far + unknown amount of time
Some enemy will kidnap the child

Next season will be Damian Dark and Thea's development

TNT is owned by WB, so they would have a better chance, but Titans will have to survive first.

Well like I said earlier, Arrow and pretty much every other DC show or film as of now has stuck much more closely to the New 52 side of things. I don't think Ollie and Dinah have been paired up yet, so that makes me hesitant to say that it will definitely happen.

I also wonder if they had planned on bringing the two together permanently, but now see that Felicity has become a more popular character and decided to change that.

They've totally changed it. They try to pretend O/L never happened.

This. And the thing is that Emily Bett Rickards just doesn't do drama well at all. It would actually be preferable to have her do her comedy one liners and keep her to that, because whenever she tries to emote she sounds absolutely terrible. That awful trembling voice she does, especially when she's afraid, angry, sad, etc is so cringe inducing. I don't feel she's really cut out for anything other than comedy where she doesn't have to display too many emotions.

I honestly feel like Felicity, on Arrow, has been reduced to nothing but a plot device. She is the end goal for this season, such as a trophy for Oliver to get.

And I agree, when Felicity's mother came in for the first time, I cringed at that ending where Felicity saved her because that doesn't bode well with her character. She was good last season when she fighting to stop Oliver from surrendering to Slade, but that wasn't so she could be with him, that was so he could save the city.

I just feel like they're pushing her as the lead, but acting wise and character wise, she can't handle it. Look at how great she was in her appearances on Flash. Even in the crossover, her dynamic with Oliver was great but she has been far from that all season on Arrow.

Yeah, I'm puzzled by this argument that "they're making her more of a real person" that some fans are trying to push. No they're not, she was more of a "real person" in S1/S2. Now, she's just a "love interest" and nothing more. EVERYTHING about her is predicated around that. She's barely above "sexy lamp" status at this point.

Pretty annoyed they went with the broke-back female superhero pose. Like really?

I don't think that pose is just regulated to women. I saw Jai Courtney in that pose for Terminator Genisys poster.

Well, now we know that in the "original timeline" that Wells hails from, Oliver lived to be 86 years old.

Do anyone think we actually see Damien Darkh? unlikely to see his face but maybe his body and legs only like Ra's in the season 3 teaser we never saw his face. as I doubt they cast him yet. I know producer say there won't be a cliffhanger but there will be something that set up season 4

Darkh isn't a huge villain like Ra's Al Ghul (Or Merlyn and Deathstroke for that matter). Wouldn't surprise me if he flat out shows up from episode 1.

Well Darkh is pretty much going to be original character with only his name and ties to HIVE will be the only link.

Honestly, this may just be my own opinion, but Slade Wilson is still this show's best villain. Sure, his motivation was somewhat flimsy at best. However, he was portrayed as a serious villain really got under Oliver's skin without putting in that much effort.

So if they can make Slade come off as a better villain than Ra's, then they could probably do the same for Darkh.
