On the IGN interview, Stephen said something pretty interesting about his character's hair and a change in the flashback and how it relates to the premiere .... I think he's hinting at Ollie possibly cutting his hair when he gets to Coast City. I know Amell hates the wigs he has to wear, but I hope they find a way to show how he gets that grizzly look at the end of the 5 years.

I really hope they do Anarky justice, but my pessimistic heart just knows they're not. Please, let me be wrong!

What I don't want: an Anarky who's just rallying the 99% againts the 1% with bombing buildings and stuff.

Love the new suit. He could be in the Justice League movie with that.

New suit looks great, and the girls all look amazing, especially EBR.

The new suit looks incredible. I'll admit I'm one of the people that's happy to see the sleeves go. Overall the suit looks more techy and combative, if that makes any sense. But those aren't knocks, I like that the suit looks less homemade. As Strafer stated, he definitely looks more like he could be in Justice League with this suit. Much respect to the costume designer. Now bring on season 4!

I'm not feeling the new suit. I liked what he had. This one feels a bit more comic booky. I know he 's a comic book character of course, but something about it just hasn't grabbed me.

Omfg!!!! Gorgeous!

Already better than the old one, though the shoulder pads could get some work. Overall, I like it

"I saw people I've known my entire life become superheroes"

Audience: Meeeeeh

"And I feel in love."

Audience: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Diggle gets a costume in Season 4? Not sure if this is real or not.

He may not be a full superhero just yet, but Diggle will don a specialized helmet and costume for Arrow's fourth season.

During San Diego Comic Con's Warner Bros. TV panel this weekend, Diggle actor David Ramsey confirmed that Diggle will taking his combat game to the next level with a new helmet.

"Diggle will get a new helmet, Ramsey confirmed, before joking that his new crime-fighting costume will be called "Black Driver."

Co-star Paul Blackthorne (Detective Lance) then jumped in to clarify that although Diggle is getting a special crime-fighting helmet, the character won't go full superhero...yet.

"We'll see," he teased.

But based on the art provided of Diggle's helmet and crime0fighting suit, it kinda looks like a stripped down superhero costume, in that prototypical sort of way. The cast and crew didn't divulge where the helmet could come from, but it's probably safe to speculate that STAR labs provided the head gear. After all, they outfitted Arrow with many of his costume upgrades and weapons armamnets in the past.

I'm surprised no one has been complaining about another Batman villian being used.

Love the new suit. He could be in the Justice League movie with that.
There's been something that's bothering me because it looked so familiar. At first I though it looked like a photoshopped version of Falcon's outfit the Avengers: AOU, but now that I think about it, it seems to be very much inspired by Daredevil's costume.

It's funny because you could make the case that Daredevil's movie costume was a red version of Oliver's old outfit, but now this new costume almost looks like a green version of Daredevil's current outfit.

I wonder if the new suit will be Cisco's welcome back gift to Oliver.

From what I remember hearing rumor-wise, Ollie is in Coast City with Felicity for a while, so I hope that means he doesn't just return after one episode and is ready to get back into things. I know they tend to rush storylines, but I would love to see Oliver struggle with trying to get away from crime fighting.

EDIT: I found this video that gets up close with the costumes on display at SDCC. I thought it was odd that they would include Sara's Canary outfit, but I guess thies are all costumes that are not going to be seen on the show anymore. Also, it's silly how everyone has a costume accessory next to the costume, like swords and helmets, and Oliver has Felicity's glasses next to his.

Does that really surprise you though after season three?

I can already tell what the story arc will be for olicity in season 4....

happy > contrived reason to take a break > back together....

Um, okay.

Yeah, that's kind of random, particularly since his origin in the comics involved his family dying in an accident. But, eh, I like Mr Terrific, and maybe they will learn from s3 and have their guest star superscientist come off less terrible. Not having to sell a made-in-North Korea Iron Man knockoff as being susceptible to arrows might help.

I feel like they either need to make his gauntlets smaller/shorter or get rid of the shoulder pads. It's like they want to show skin but dont want to show skin.

I want to see Sara come back and kick Laurel's butt. ;)

Seriously, it will be interesting to see when her father finds out she is alive....Again!

Diggle looks kind of like YJ's version of Guardian with that look. Also I love Oliver's new suit.

BUT, they're still going to have to find a way to plausibly get around the whole "outing" thing from last season. And given how they did it, that's going to be a tall order.

Yeah, I don't see them making it the full season together as if its happily ever after. They'll end up together but not before some unnecessary drama.

But what I hope will happen is that Dahrk, if he is indeed Felicity's father, that by season's end, Oliver realizes he needs to kill him but Felicity won't allow it because that's her father, despite him being evil. But this sounds too dark and since they want a happy Oliver, I doubt it will happen.

I actually think it's quite the opposite. I feel like they want to show skin, but they also want to have him protected. Sure his entire body was covered before, but it didn't look as strong as this version. You can tell they wanted to make him sleeveless, but they need to cover him in a way that protects him while also giving him the fluidity of movement.

This is why I rather they keep him out of Star(ling) for a few episodes. Give Lance and Laurel a chance to make up and have him come back to his senses.

Looking at the picture of his new suit I didn't really like BUT watching the video of Amell in costume on Comic Con it looks much better. I think the shoulder pad looks bigger because of the angle or something, but it didn't seem so big on the video...

Here's the panel, though it doesn't include the part where Amell comes out in his suit.

Here's a good quality video of his comic-con entrance in costume.
