Saw the pilot episode which was leaked months ago, and i was disappointed.

I saw it back then also, and quite enjoyed it. Enough so that I watched it again the other night, and I like it even better on the second viewing.
It isn't perfect, but I can see some good potential there.

Did they seriously NEVER think about making him her father? The way she praised it as if it is a genius idea, i wonder what they think of other ideas that actually would be better then what they give us.

Darhk being Felicity's father was more of a fan theory just like Ivo could of been her father.

Glad Dahrk being Felicity's father has been debunked.

They're doing a good job, but they haven't earned my trust back. There's still plenty of time for them to mess up, especially if they get too comfortable.

Lol @cassidy getting stunned. Terrible acting. Reminded me of the dark knight rises when Talia ate it. With that said, this has been one of the BEST seasons so far. I won't say it's the best because there is a long way to go, but it's flowing really nice and there doesn't have a feel it's just the villian of the week. This season is taking all the best stuff from all previous seasons and making its own. The action is great, the flashbacks seem relatively good again. Excited for the season. Kudos writers.

Just finished today's episode. Beginning to think lance is the one in the grave now.

Eh, I dont know...would Lance make Oliver tear up like that at his grave site?

Absolutely; Lance continueing on his path of helping team arrow and being the inside man for them in Darhk's organization couldn bring Ollie and Capt. closer than before, forming an alliance and a stronger bond between them; then, as a result of Lance's infiltration in Hive is that he ends up killed (sacrificing himself for TA, perhaps?), hence Ollie's "Before I would have blamed myself, not now, but I'm gonna kill him." (paraphrasing).

Lance would have a hero's death and Ollie would have an actual emotional connection to him (which, it isn't like he doesn't care about him at all right now, after all, they used to be "partners" during parts of season 2 and 3), at least that's how I see it happening...but who knows.

Polux

I'm glad the Felicity's father being Damien Darhk theory is debunked. I was worried this might ruin the show, but im glad that won't be the case. Arrow is back on track, and is unpredictable.

Actually, the more I think of it, the more I think I agree that Lance is the one who dies. Theres really not too much more they can do with the character, I think, and with Sara back, it would provide a new dynamic between Laurel and Sara. If they kill off one of the main cast members (Diggle, Laurel, Thea) its just gonna cast a dark shadow over the show again like season 3 and I think the producers are aware that dragged the show down.

I hope they don't kill off Lance, i love his character. What Commissioner Gordon is to Batman, is what Captain Lance is to Arrow. Plus what Detective Joe west is to Barry. Also he's the only police guy in the show, so he provides that police connection in the show. Any new police guy they introduce would have no history with team Arrow.
I hope they kill off Oliver's son or baby momma.

Five episodes in and there's not even a mention of them. Yeah, that's not happening.

See, introducing a new police captain would be an interesting new dynamic I think. Someone who's not familiar with Oliver or the Green Arrow and has his own set of rules and comes to conflict with Team Arrow. Oliver would have to gain this new captain's trust just like he did Lance.

Some of the writing in this show makes me cringe. Felicity's "yeah I took some more money from the company that is in financial trouble already and I'll have to answer to the board of directors for this" in her little girly sheepish tone was cringeworthy.

You just committed a crime Felicity. It's called Embezzlement. or the fact that Willow can just contact her high school dealer and cop 80 kilos "for a party" no problem.

that's some party.

or through some twisted logic the girl cop still thought she deserved that drug money because she was entitled somehow but still was so honorable as a cop to choose Justice instead of killing a cop ,after they already killed 2 without so much as blinking because they just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. This kind of stuff makes me want to quit watching. It's terrible writing.

Not really, all she did was make a campaign donation. She's making an investment in the future of the city which will eventually help the company.

Campaign donation, built another newer ,bigger Arrow cave in a secret bunker, paid for 80 kilos of drugs and that was just this show.
