Yeah, it's because Kreisberg stepped away from being co-showrunner to do The Flash. He's not there to keep Guggenheim in check. I'm sure he throws out story ideas here and there, but he isn't involved day-to-day because he has The Flash to showrun. It's very noticeable, IMO.

But he hasn't run the Flash at all this season and it hasn't had any effect there. And he had at least three stories to his credit last season while none this season in Arrow and I feel like Arrow is improving. Do you disagree that this season's better than last?

Anyway, that Lance/Donna scene was much ado about nothing. I really didn't see the sky falling there.

So it's finally happened, after four seasons... I'm starting to lose interest in this show... There's just way to much back-and-forth and I'm enjoying the Flash much more than Arrow on a consistent basis now. Anyone else feeling that way? The thing I'm tired of:

So tired of the characters constantly reflecting on their poor, past decisions, especially when it comes to being mind controlled or under the influence of some mystical power.

In Season 1 and 2, Oliver was a killer, murdering his enemies, but he pulled back and decided not to use lethal force anymore. But since then, it seems like every single character has had to go through the exact same character arc and it's so tiring.

First, Oliver had Roy killing people due to the merry-coo-rue (can't spell it, lol - the super soldier serum), and Roy had tons of guilt over his kills.

Then Oliver had to get Laurel to calm it down.

Then Oliver dealt with Thea killing Sara, and now in this season Thea has "bloodlust" due to the Lazarus Pit...

and now in the past two episodes Sara has risen from the grave (also, didn't she use lethal force originally too and then calmed down?) is also killing people cause the Lazarus Pit made her a nutcase zombie killing machine.... and not to mention this show also had the same dilemma presented as a character arc for Huntress.... ENOUGH ALREADY.

If Batman was on this team, he would of abandoned them long ago. They can't keep it together. All of them are reformed killers who constantly go back to killing due to mind-control, or being under the influence of a serum, or a Lazarus pit, or because they turned into a zombie, too much, too often.

And what's laughable is the inconsistencies. Every time they go into a fight, Diggle is there with a gun shooting people!!!!! Where's his thou-shall-not-kill philosophy????

I feel like there's scene after scene after scene of them dealing with this same issue over and over and over. It's very annoying and boring at this point.

LOL yeah, there's no consistency with it. Like last night... Sarah runs into the HIVE hideout shooting people left and right. But then when she has to snap that one guy's neck, everyone is like, "NOOOO Sarah don't do it!!!" What the hell?

There's a big difference between shooting at body armor wearing enemies in a team battle and snapping the neck of an already incapacitated enemy.

Every time they go into a fight, Diggle is there with a gun shooting people!!!!! Where's his thou-shall-not-kill philosophy????

It's possible to shoot just to injure rather than kill, Diggle is not looking to kill everyone he aims his gun at. He is a trained solider, who can aim properly.

It's not that that Team Arrow is against killing, I'd say far from it. However they are fearful of what it means for Sara. Diggle and others can kill with control over who they kill Sara seems incapable of that at the moment.

I actually feel like Arrow has been better than Flash this season (last episode excluded). Flash has just been so, underwhelming thus far.

That's dope.

I have actually being really enjoying this season, and feel pretty much the the same way about it, as I did season 1. I think depending on how they cap it off, it could match S2, but that will be tough.

PART ONE OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW” — In its second major crossover event with “Arrow,” Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out. Ralph Hemeckerdirected the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#208). Original airdate 12/1/2015.

PART TWO OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER WITH “THE FLASH” — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) take Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Carter Hall (guest star Falk Henstchel) to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage. Thor Freudenthal directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Brian Ford Sullivan & Marc Guggenheim (#408). Original airdate 12/2/2015.

I'm actually hoping that the situation in which people find out about them hooking up will be well written in a funny way since there's a lot of potential in how funny it could be, especially from Oliver's/Felicity's/Laurel's reactions.

If it's a funny comedy relationship between Lance/Donna, Then i guess im okay with it.
But if it's anything like Olicity......hopefully that's not the case.

So far Arrow season 4 had the first 5 episodes solid, but the latest episode was really terrible.

seems to me the crossover is about intoducing Savage, hawkman and hawkgirl.
the rest of LOT characters aren't involved.

You know, its really amazing when you take a step back and realize how this show has opened the superhero floodgates on tv. Because of Arrow's success we have this vast expansive world being built with The Flash and LoT (and Supergirl?) They've come such a long way.

Also, I'd like to think Arrow's success is what encouraged Marvel to launch the Netflix series. Arrow was the first show to just come in with confidence and say "uh, hey, guys it REALLY isn't that hard to make a good superhero show." Now look where we are, we're gradually building towards a Justice League for tv. All because Arrow proved a series about a guy with a bow and arrow could be interesting. Exciting times.

I think the season 5 should be when they form the League. When Arrow does its crossover with Flash next year I think it'll be the right moment. LoT will have already aired and there will be plenty of heroes running around. I think Ollie and Barry should officially form the the League.

look like Green Arrow and black canary are the new content for DCUO. Thought I'd put it up for those interested.
