I highly doubt it is Laurel. It is most probably Quentin. I am going to miss him :csad:.

Thing is, they did create a great Canary. Then unfortunately had to kill her off, simply because she didn't have the right name. Sure, the plan always was for Laurel to the be true Black Canary, but obviously that didn't work out, for a number of reasons. Eventually, she did get to don the black suit, and that feels like it only happened, because it was a contractual obligation, and not because this path was their vision all along.
They had a character with fighting skills, but wasn't the character in origin, morals or name. They didn't have a great Canary. They had a great assassin character, but it wasn't Black Canary.

God bless you! God bless your family and everyone else in your life! God bless everyone!

I predict the rating will suffer if Laurel dies. She may not have a big fanbase but killing off BC a major comic character to give social media their dream pairing is bad.

So, stupid question: why do you think this would matter? Do you honestly believe there enough *Arrow viewers* who care that deeply about Laurel, that this would be a show stopper? Note, I said "Arrow viewers", not "Comic book fans".

The reason the CW panders to "social media" is because that's the majority of the audience demographic. It sure as hell isn't "SHH posters".

Honestly... Whoever they kill will suck... Each of the characters have a big role in the show now and it'll suffer in some form no matter who goes.

I expect the death to be a Lance... But I could see them chucking a curveball and killing Diggle... He's in a happy place right now with a family and his brother back with them... I could see TPTB throwing in the unnecessary angst & darkness by killing off the happiest one of the group just for ****s & giggles (bit like the stupid kid storyline ATM)

Thing is, as of the first season, they really didn't have the Black Canary either, or even a plausible origin for one who particularly resembles the comic version. I certainly wouldn't mind if we got a comic-faithful Black Canary, but it would really have required retooling the season 1 concept for the show. After all, the Black Canary is not a new, untrained sidekick. She's supposed to be the inheritor of a heroic legacy, whose been training since she was a kid in aspiration to that legacy.

That's not true. If it was Arrow would have higher ratings than the Flash which does go for the comic book crowd. What people who make your argument don't seem to get is going more comic book has great mass market appeal. See the Flash, the MCU and Deadpool(even Fox may get it now)

Spot on.

Arrow feels like a fan fiction version of the comic book. I find it tedious to watch these days and have for a while. The only reason I'm keeping up with it is so that I know what's going on when I watch the other shows like the Flash or LoT.

I could quite easily see a novel coming out like Fifty Shades of Grey that was initially based on a fan fiction piece about Olicity.

So I started reading Arrow - Vengeance. It starts just before Oliver and Slade's fight on the Amazo.

Also, interestingly, it reveals that the Deathstroke mask with the arrow through the eye on the beach was actually put there by Slade, when I think everyone before would've assumed Oliver did it. I mean, why wouldn't Oliver suddenly be suspicious to find Slade's mask sitting on the beach with an arrow through the eye...after he'd put an arrow through Slade's real eye? Perhaps he just thinks one of Reiter's men did it, or something, but I know for my part I always figured Oliver put it there.

Also we get to meet Slade's ex-wife and son Joe (not the one in LOT, Grant). He goes back to ASIS and we see the new Deathstroke suit being designed. This is roughly 50 pages in. He has no mirakuru powers right now, due to swimming all the way from Lian Yu to an island where he could be picked up by ASIS, including through a storm. He's trying to figure out if the mirakuru's been drained from his body and if not, why it isn't working.

I hope it isnt Laurel. I mean how much longer can we put up with Lance *****ing about one of his daughters dying. I think Its eitehr Lance or THea though to be honest. (dotn you kill Diggle *****es)

And the most important thing, something that I’ve been hammering this year and I think that we’re going to see a lot in the latter part of this season, is let’s not forget our roots. Let’s not, in the interest of trying new things, forget what people loved about this show in the first place.

This is a interesting quote from Amell interview before episode 15 "Taken" I wonder what he means by not forgetting the roots? Back to gritty crime show? and a badass Green Arrow? or the team that begins it all? Original Team Arrow?

The show in every season messed itself up in some way. Season 1 at least had a potential jumping off point. Everything after that just dumped on itself. There were many things they could have done and they chose the worst way to do it with every Canary. At least Laurel ended up having something similar to the character. Sara was basically a new character with Canary in her name and a similar look to BC. If Sara had had all the backstory and name and skills etc. etc., yes she would have been BC. But the show didn't do that. It gave her fighting skills and tossed her into the ring. It didn't even give her 2 out of 3. I knew when her character was introduced that one of two things were gonna happen: Laurel was gonna be killed off in favor of her or Sara was gonna be killed off to build Laurel. Both of those ideas told me that they were falling short in their writing.

God bless you! God bless your family and everyone else in your life! God bless everyone!

Well 99% the person who dies has been revealed. My emotions are ready.

yep.......

but those set photo and no one stop them from taking them is too fishy. There no point in having Laurel become Black Canary if she was going to killed off at some point...again set photo been taken and security or someone allow them? I read it suppose to be a close set

Idk but i hate to be one of those people since those people annoy me but i most likely won't be back for s5..

I would not put this past them but considering they kept Sara's death a total surprise it seems odd to allow this to be spoiled so far out.

Those photo are a bit high quality for spies to be able to sneak around and take photo of them in secret.

Yes, are they sneaky enough to film multiple endings and leak a false one?

Well if they're not then everyone at Berlanti co. are incompetent..

Your big thing of the season that you said was happening in the first episode of the season and you let it get spoiled because you couldn't film it in an area you couldn't close down...

But ya i'm starting to think this is a troll job...

I mean they filmed Oliver at the grave with Barry and I don't recall that ever getting leaked out the day it was shot.. I believe the only thing that did come out was because Amell posted a picture of him and Gustin and made a comment about it being a game changing scene or something

The O/B wasn't expected. This is which is why people are bending over backwards to get pictures. Plus it appears Katie actually dyed her hair.

Madison McLaughlin — who once fought demons as Supernatural‘s teen hunter Krissy — now has set her sights on Arrow.

Star Stephen Amell announced the actress’ casting on Season 4 of the CW series with a cryptic tweet.

The CW is mum on details, but McLaughlin seems to match a recent casting breakdown for “Rebecca,” a teenage character who appears in Episode 19 — with the potential to recur — and is described as a “smart, snarky” “escapee of a dangerous cult.”

But again, show reps are confirming no details on the casting.

Chicago P.D. viewers may recognize McLaughlin as Olinsky’s surprise daughter Michelle. The actress has also appeared on Girl Meets World, Major Crimes and Mad Men (as Sally’s friend who famously tried to flirt with Don Draper).

"Well, looks like spoiler territory. I'll make sure to avoid that!"

*Opens Twitter. Everyone is openly discussing it because they don't like the show*

Careful out there, folks. There be dragons.

Read the possible spoilers. Now I'm pissed. Be even more pissed if they are true.
