Since the probable truth is out there, my thoughts:

Yay. Don't like Laurel. Don't like Katie Cassidy. If Team Arrow could be trimmed down to Green Arrow, Diggle, and Speedy I'd be happy. Not sure where that would leave Lance though or how Sara would find out...

Still wondering if Darhk or Merlyn would be responsible.

There's also photos of
Nyssa and that girl that was announced today at the funeral. I kinda wonder if she is Talia, but I doubt they'd be able to use her.

Still, Nyssa being there says a lot.

It's interesting to note that I haven't come across many, if not any, who didn't think that Felicity was right in her attitude at the end of "Taken". I've seen a lot of reactions online where people have commented on how badly Felicity's character came off in her final scene (let alone for most of the episode) with Oliver so I'm hoping this is a trend that catches on to the Producers and the Cast Members.

If i'm not mistaken, by Season 8 of "Smallville" even Kristin Kreuk was aware of how much hate her character received from portions of the fandom. I also heard that it was actually one of the reasons why she wanted to leave the show.

I'm not wishing ill upon EBR of course but I hope that the producers catch wind of how badly they just screwed up EBR's character where they may feel forced to change how Felicity is being written.

In an ideal world, I'd have...

Team Arrow, with the characters that you mentioned, team up with ARGUS, now that Amanda Waller has been taken out of the picture, with Lyla filling in the void of Felicity's role for the group.

If Laurel is the one to go, I hope Felicity leaves the group as well.

Really hoping it's not true, but I bet it is.

Well it's pretty telling when they "fake" a major character's death and people are actually happy. It sucked from a story perspective because Clark had finally gotten the life he wanted, with Lana knowing his secret and accepting it, and leaving Lex in the process, but that whole relationship made no sense and lacked so much of what it great in the early years.

On a somewhat related note, looking on twitter, it's crazy to see how many obsessed Laurel fans there are.

So you're saying people offline thought Felicity was right but online they thought she was wrong?

I would've gotten rid of the character that has shown the LEAST growth since S1, [BLACKOUT]Thea.[/BLACKOUT] Makes absolutely no sense to remove a character that not only is a big character in the comics but has also shown a ton of growth, arguably more so than the main character. If true, poor decision by the writers.

That spoiler sucks but is not surprising.

I don't remotely see how you could come to that conclusion.

Yeah, [blackout]Thea has grown a ton as a character. I disliked her more than anyone for the first two and a half seasons. Now she's one of my favorites[/blackout]

Yeah. Bump Lyla up to main cast. She's been around long enough.

I just realized, if it's true, it's catering to the "tumblr" fans even more

If it's true it's almost certainly down to WB wanting the character separate for the DCCU, in which case Canary fans should be excited.

I still don't understand why it's it's okay for a major character like the Flash to be on TV and film but not ones like Deadshot, Deathstroke, Captain Boomerang, and possibly Black Canary.

Not if they're just catering to the "Tumblr" fans again...:whatever:

These are a very successful group of men and women producers with years of experience, that have several hit shows currently airing, the idea that they are going off tumbler or twatter or any of that other junk is ludicrous.

Im just pissed that they didn't make this, year of Laurel if it was going to be her last season.

They never knew how to handle losing cast members. See Roy barely doing a thing last year despite them knowing this was his last season on contract.

Honestly, this spoiler's the best piece of news I've heard about this show in ages.

Watch them make [blackout]Felicity the new Black Canary[/blackout]

they never gave Roy anything that indicate he was leaving......no flashback, not much on his history.

if it was year of Laurel she probably get a love interest and a new trainer but neither of them will likely happen
