What did ever happen to the Arrow's version of the Huntress?
in away(not in it is) what huntress did is terrorism in real life and that' really hard to be let loose of . she'd be in home land security prison. if you really think about it. and then if she was let free on bail (which doesn't happen when your convicted of it) she's get a beat down like Lizzy from the black list on her free parole , though Lizzy in that latter show I mentioned was cleared, not all of the public heard this even though it was televised and there was a guy that beat her up in the parking lot while she was shopping for food . this after she was refused from buying anew apartment

Now think about what helena will get for what she did compared to Lizzy who was forced (killed a corrupt judge and senator) and in way and framed (she was also suspected of killing C.i.a. agents in state depamtne building) while huntress killed feds and united states marshals and was also caught on cam with her own crimes and nearly killed people in club and the slaughter at that bank.

"'Arrow' Death Will 'Undo' One Of Felicity's Recent Decisions"

Oh joy. She's rejoining the team.

Regarding whoever is impersonating Black Canary in the next episode
just showed up in full BC gear again in the finale. I guess they are really going for "see anyone can be these heroes, Dinah Laurel Lance has no claim to the name"

That would fit in with what Diggle said to Oliver last season, regarding the crusade that he started and how it would live on even after Oliver.

"What I know, Oliver, is that you started something, something strong enough to live on past you. Question is, can you live with what it's become?"

Oliver inspired others to become heroes, and some to even take up a green hood and bow and arrow like him, such as Diggle's son on LOT. It seems fitting that the Black Canary would do the same and has inspired people in a similar manner. It still doesn't change the fact that she should have been around for much longer though, and that her death was very, very premature, to say the least.

If they wanted to have their cake and eat it to, they could've at least waited an entire season before bringing in a new Black Canary. Just seems like such a slap in the face to the character, to Katie, and to her fans. Kill her off to "up the ante" only to replace her in a blink of an eye

If the new Black Canary is going to be kept around long-term, then I agree. However, If she isn't and they just want to show the effect that Laurel had and how she inspired people in a similar manner to Oliver, then it makes sense to show it now and the impact she has had on people shortly after her death. It also makes her death a little less sad, as it shows that her efforts were not in vain and that she has inspired people and left her mark on the world.

Unsurprising. It's a S3 repeat, honestly. Roy gets shipped off, next episode or so Thea appears wearing a hoodie and shoots Oliver through the wrist. Then in the finale she appears in full Speedy uniform. It's the exact same formula they are using here, seems like.

(BTW, I loved that scene where Speedy shot Oliver through the wrist because Oliver's "mildly-ticked" look was hilarious. And then he lowkey slashes the arrow out of his arm. :oldrazz:)

Apparently they've shown up a couple of times throughout the last half of the season. So annoying.

They must think [blackout]people just want a Black Canary. Who the hell cares about Laurel Lance.[/blackout]

Okay, so just to play devil's advocate: it's entirely possible that some people do want that. Let me explain. When I first heard about Arrow, I barely knew anything about any of the characters. I knew Oliver Queen was the Green Arrow and who "Black Canary" was, but I didn't know her real name. So when I went through S1, I knew Black Canary was in it but I didn't know her secret identity (except I knew it wasn't Felicity, because the first clip I saw had both Felicity and–unknown to me–Sara in it, but I didn't know Sara's real identity). So as I watched, I kept expecting Black Canary show up and I she was blonde and so I didn't think she was Laurel. Then I read a description about the episode with Oliver's girlfriend McKenna and I thought "oh, maybe this is Black Canary" but she showed up and wasn't blonde either. When S2 came around and revealed it was Sara I just assumed that Sara Lance was always Black Canary. Didn't realize until months later that in the comics, Black Canary was Laurel. So for a person who isn't into the comics but just enjoys the show, I can see them not caring about who the Black Canary is, so long as she's present.

Now of course, knowing now, I cared that it was Laurel, as it should've been, and I was upset that they killed her off. However, if I'd remained a casual fan, clueless as to her identity in the comics, I probably wouldn't have cared as much that they would replace her. Would I, as a casual fan, have been sad at Laurel's death? Yeah, for sure. But I would've also been okay with them just bringing in a new Black Canary, too. (BTW, back when I was still a casual, I also really enjoyed the idea of Olicity, but this was during S1 and S2, before they showed why it's a bad idea.) So I would say that, for the majority of casual fans, they probably will be okay with a new Black Canary (unless they're Olicity shippers, in which case they could feel threatened, even if unnecessarily, by yet another woman in Oliver Queen's life besides Precious Felicity).

It's dumb because we're essentially on our third "black" Canary, and fourth if you count Sara's White Canary. BC isn't a sidekick like Robin. There shouldn't be multiple in Oliver's lives, not to mention, the new girl looks like a child.

Bringing in someone that won't be a threat to their precious Olicity.

Exactly! With the exception of Nyssa, whom I think is full lesbian as opposed to Sara who is Bi-sexual, there is not one person, past or present, who seems like they could be a potential love interest in the future. Heck, even the girl on the island was initially said to be a love interest, and aside from maybe one kiss or moment of affection, there has been no romantic moments between those two.

I actually know of Olicity Shippers who got pissed off whenever Nyssa addressed Oliver as her "husband". Some of which wished that she would be killed off just for that alone.lol

Whether Marc and the cast/crew want to admit it or not, I'm sure they're well aware of the reputation that this show has garnered as a result of how many things and characters have been mishandled as of late.

And speaking of Sara, I wonder if they'll actually give a reason on why Sara doesn't attempt to save Laurel by means of tme travel?lol

Could it be Sin? (Or is it Syd? I forget.)

Cant mess up the timeline blah blah blah. All other siblings can be saved except for Laurel of course.

Nope, the actress is actually on another show, and it seems like this is based on Laurel's Canary, not Sara's.

Word on the street those silly Oliciters were attacking Ben Percy on twitter because he isn't making Felicity a part of Green Arrow Rebirth. These mutha****as won't stop until they change the canon. And you thought they were harmless...
