It's hard to believe that Geoff Johns doesn't know about this thing. Guggy might just be on his second strike.

Birds of Prey with the Black Canary...

The previous Birds of Prey TV series with Oracle, Huntress, and Dinah Lance on the WB network didn't go over very well.
Add to the fact that Black Canary was killed off on Arrow. So I'm not really sure the CW wants to go there again.

Sooo....he's just freely killing again...I see...

Other than that, I'm loving the new season :ilv:

Polux

I tried to give this season a chance, I really did.

I think I have outgrown Arrow. Enjoy folks.

Gonna wait what the general consensus is like 10 Episodes in. Season 3 was just outright terrible. Season 4 started out promising, but that quickly went downhill as well.

I am not sure 10 episodes is enough. 10 episodes in last season, most people were still saying the season was good. You can check the threads of the episodes from last season and look at the rankings out of 10 to see this. It was around episode 15 when peoples opinions seemed to changes, if I remember correctly (and funnily enough, it was a good episode, but the ending with Felicity left a sour taste in peoples mouths).

That can be said about most (CW) shows. I remember Smallville, in most season, but especially in season 10, had this great plot developing in the first half, but after episode 13, it became more about bringing in old guests and that arc just seemed to have been dropped and thew quality went with it as they were stalling for the final episodes.

Arrow definitely suffered from this ion the past two seasons, which is in contrast to season 1 and 2, where 10 episodes in the excitement was just beginning.

Early days, but as badass as Prometheus seems so far, he does not seem as dangerous as Ra's or Darhk, and it makes me wonder how he will offer a greater threat to Oliver than they did. How do you get tougher than them two? The likes of Trigon or Darkseid is what comes to mind. After beating Ra's, they had to weaken Oliver last season to give other opponents a chance. I used to think if they ever had the LOA as villains on this show, it would be in the final season or season 5 at least. I was surprised when Ra's was announced as the villain in summer 2014. I didn't see how you could get much tougher than the LOA, unless aliens or powers were brought into it, and it doesn't seem like Prometheus has any.

I think they need to scale down the conflicts. Keep Arrow's threats city-based and make the threat more personal instead of world-ending. Have Prometheus outsmart and outplay Oliver at every turn, more of a Hannibal/Will Graham thing (not the Fuller version, though) than anything else.

I agree. I am still interested to see how they will make him a threat to Oliver though, after beating the likes of Ra's and Darhk. Hopefully, it will not happen as a result of them weakening him or dumbing him down. With Prometheus, I feel it will be personal.

Ragman seems too OP to be on Team Arrow. I imagine he will have little trouble with the motiveless papier-mâché henchmen that TA usually deals with. I guess they will depower him or dumb him down.

I wonder is Prometheus someone Oliver met in Russia. Now that I think of it, I think it was mentioned that he lost someone during Malcolm's attack on the Glades or Slade's attack on the city.

As we've seen, the CW is now doing some really good super hero shows, so rebooting BoP with better experience would benefit it.

And since Katie Cassidy is coming back in Arrow ep 10, Flash and LoT, then it's not too far to say that she could come back as Laurel Lance. Flashpoint is already effecting all the shows, and it's been quoted that she'll be 'alive and well.'

So, bring her back, give her a few episodes to cement the storyline and then reboot BoP with her as lead.

Dun!

I would love it if Laurel were to be brought back in a BOP show. It should have lots of crossovers with Arrow too.

You might be on to something there, I'm racking my brain trying to think of who so far I've thought of two people but I think that these aren't likely:

- Felicity's boyfriend, too obvious?
- Tommy resurrected, heard he's busy on another show
- Oliver Queen clone? Probably not

Although given they didn't know who was gonna be in the grave right away last season I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't know who it was themselves yet. If that's the case they'll probably do something lame like make it Malcolm or something.

Great way to work "Stardust" into the episode. Also, I was not expecting Ragman to be on Team Arrow; I was under the impression that he was a villain. Now I'm expecting that if anyone dies this season, it'll be him.

My thoughts exactly
