New ‘Arrow’ Season 5 poster:

Much better than the Flash poster, but the artist in me is telling me the perspective doesn't quite match up.

TBH that made me more excited for Arrow than the S4 poster did, and at the time of S4 I was really hopeful still. This season seems to be going through all the right motions; now let's just see if they can pull it off.

Unfortunately, I expect next season to be similar to the last two. I think it will have a strong start, but drop off in the 2nd half of the season, but still have good/great moments every now and then. I am sure there will be great characters and performances like we got from Darhk last season too, but overall, I am not expecting a great season. I do not expect the writers to change, improve or learn from their mistakes. They had a chance to do so last season, but made things worse.

Talk about crotch shot lol. The poster is ok but I want some group pictures from these shows like we got back in the day with older shows.

Official description for "The Recruits"
SUIT UP — Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) new recruits for Team Arrow are Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin). Unfortunately, the Green Arrow’s training methods prove to be too much for some of them to handle. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver’s initiation into the Bratva continues. James Bamford directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Beth Schwartz.

Also Guggenheim posted a pic of the table read for the 100th episode. The Robert Queen-actor is in the room and the caption is "no flashbacks. no flashpoint". So my guess is E2 Robert who was confirmed to be the Arrow there...

I also saw the Katie Cassidy is also in the episode.

If I had my way, for the 100th episode I would have Laurel, Moira, Tommy, Slade and some others turn up for it in flashbacks or the present day , even just briefly, as they all contributed massively to the show. Heck, I would even have Darhk show up in some capacity. He is the main reason I will ever re-watch season 4.

That would be so great and I bet Collin would be willing to return to do it, but I'm not sure Manu Bennett or Susanna Thompson would be.

still wondering how Katie cassidy is going to be on flash, arrow, and LOT since flashpoint on flash lasts only 1 episode and so far no indications it affects arrow at all.

-Black Siren, her alter ego from Earth 2, is locked up on Earth 1 in the particle accelerator pipeline

-Flash can travel through time and go to alternate dimensions

-The entire premise of Legends of Tomorrow is time travel, and the Wave Rider itself is also capable of inter-dimensional travel

-Arrow could still utilize her in flash backs

This new team of vigilantes is a bunch of nobody's. I'm not really hyped. Would rather have the team be made up of Green Arrow, Black Canary, Arsenal and Speedy. Those are characters I actually care for.

The villain is also a botched version of Prometheus... Prometheus is an amazing character I don't know why they thought their version would be a good idea.

I hate being negative but I think it might be best to wrap this series up, and just stick Green Arrow and Black Canary into a CW Justice League tv show.

The lineup could be so good.

They dont like big time comic characters on Arrow.

With Robert Queen/Laurel apparently in the big 100, a lot of people will are speculating it will be a "what if" type episode. Which means Laurel will probably be wasted with being Mrs.Queen.

The 100th is the crossover episode. So they probably pick up Robert from Earth-2 and Laurel from another Earth, along with Supergirl.

Perhaps, though the table read only had Arrow characters at it so I dont know how big it will play for the cross over, though I have heard they will treat 101 as the 100.

I'm so pumped for Wild Dog. Sucks he seems most likely to die behind Ragman.

I really dislike the new trailers, the team 2.0 WTF? I like the characters but they are not apart of the Green Arrow family. I'm not opposed to changing things in cannon when you adopting something from the page to the screen. However this feels wrong and a complete departure from the books as far as Green Arrow's support system.
