Huh okey. I seem to remember reading his tweets and fb posts with what seemed to me like ill thoughts towards the CW. Perhaps that was just on me then. It's cool that he's back though, considering he's probably one of the best villains this show has had.

I am sure he wasn't entirely happy with the direction the show was going, with Felicity and the drama that comes with her character becoming very prominent, but it seems the extent of his unhappiness was exaggerated. Even at cons, he said if they came up with a good story and he was available, he would turn up.

I've definitely missed her this season, always fun to have her on the show.

I am starting to feel that the finale could be like the 100th episode, with a lot going on and as a result, it ending up with big moments being rushed and not being as powerful and impactful as they should be due to this. Hopefully this is not the case.

It's going to be Manu. He's just playing coy, I think. He may only be providing a voice, with the body double in the costume, or he may have a brief cameo in the prison cell, maskless, but my guess is that for most of the episode it'll be a body double, fully-costumed, and Manu will provide the voice, but he won't at any point remove his helmet once he's geared up. So count on maybe one or two Manu appearances, followed by a bunch of Slade-in-costume scenes with Manu voicing him.

Less than an hour ago, Manu posted a video of his character from Shannara snapping an arrow in half, with the description saying something like "This is what I think of Arrow" and now the video is gone.
I have no idea of what's going on

However, sources confirm to TVGuide.com that Bennett is in fact returning to Arrow for the finale and will begin shooting scenes in Vancouver later this week. (It's likely that the man spotted in the Deathstroke costume on set is filming fight scenes or other footage where it wouldn't be necessary to have Bennett film it himself.)

Hope Manu actually agreeing to come back for this means they've come up with something good for the character and not that they either offered him enough money or nagged him enough to get him to change his mind.
