speculation time.

oliver will beat the charges but in the finale he will expose himself as the green arrow while taking out diaz. the beginning of next season will be an adaptation of that failed green arrow super max movie.

I can't remember where it was now, but I seem to recall reading that Diaz was going to be the villain next season too, and it'll focus on a corrupted and destroyed (internally I guess) city?

Paul Blackthorne is leaving the show. This really sucks. I expect to hear KC leaving again.

With Quentin Lance leaving, I don't expect either Lance sister to return to Arrow.

I'm pissed that the entire Lance linage is being wiped from the show.

It wont mean much if she's not on the show lol.
Pretty much this. I couldn't care less about Laurel Lance ever since before she died at the hands of Damien Darkh. The fact that they had to bring the actress back to portray a [very similar] character kind of threw away any emotional perspective anyone had from E1's Laurel's death.

If Quinten is out though, it stands to reason it'll be at the hands of Diaz, and that'll likely flip a switch in E2 Laurel making her [better], but a full turn to the light side? I'm not seeing that, nor do I want it; I'd much rather have Dinah, but they've still got some stuff to sort out here between the two teams (assuming that continues into next year).

An Arrow writer confirmed that Katie Cassidy would be back for Season 7.

Since Felicity is going to be pregnant next season, I hope it is the last.

Arrow star Stephen Amer to make a big announcement coming at The CW Upfronts this Thursday in NY.

hmm wonder what it could maybe it the final season or to have big DC character ON ARROW or something about the crossover
It's more than likely a statement of the shows conclusion. It would be a bit of a long-shot (and a suspense killer) for him to say "...and next year, we're meeting Bruce Wayne" or whatever.

I suspect it'll be that the show is going to wrap on it's 7th season, and I hope it goes out with a bang. There's always the opportunity for Stephen to appear in Legends and/or Flash every once in a while, and there's a further chance that if Arrow is out, there's room for another CW Superhero show (and there's ample characters to pick from).

Yep, sounds like a "final season" announcement to me. Which, if true, good. It's past time, imo.

If it is their final season, I hope they do it justice though, and don't bring everyone and their mother back just for the sake of it. An original plot with a devious villain and a damn impressive crossover (for a change; I haven't really been impressed with the previous two).

I wouldn't mind a couple of two-parters, between Arrow & Flash, then Arrow & Legends. Maybe even one between Black Lightning & Arrow if they could ever make that work (and further depending on which Earth Black Lightning is happening - easier if he's on Earth 1, otherwise we'd face the same situation we have where Kara is concerned).

Good, this show is not salvageable.

Maybe one day we can get a closer adaptation of the Green Arrow mythos than...whatever this was after Season 3/4.

I don't necessarily think its wrong.

One thing I appreciated about JL and JL:U is once the original 7 kind of ironed out a lot of their details, about the role they will have in society etc, they kind of didn't have to focus on the team dynamic of the original 7 when it came to JL:U.

I hope Arrow will be doing something similar, that instead of always questioning oliver and going in circles with his story, they kind of just say "he's as good as hes gonna get."

Much like the JL reached during JL:U.

I mean the frustration behind Oliver and Felicity never comes too me from either character, but more so the situation that they constantly run into, which is if they trust each other.

I'm sick of this cycling of the same story between them, or how his team mates always end up turning on him, or how their is a new villain with a new army, that would be severly weaker than his dealing with ras, slade, damien darkh, merlyn.

Frankly put they have no wonder bigger that Oliver shouldn't be able to handle in a couple episodes by this point, especially someone like Diaz at this point.

And this is why I think they need to move on from him and give the spotlight to other heroes, or start forming a proper JL, with Flash, Arrow Super Girl, around a round table, and than we get to follow other heroes, much like JL:U.

I can't see a fun announcement being it's our last season. Would be cool if we get a Supes or Bats appearance.

Fun announcement sounds more like a crossover and/or new series as opposed to the end of this series, which after this season I am all ready for.

will CW really commit to another DC superhero series?
