Dont know if this has been brought up but wouldnt someone like Ollie's mom test the big pool of blood left on her office floor to try to find a DNA match?

If Malcom isn't the guy on the other end of the phone line that's revealed to be in charge of having set up the group of mercenaries on the island as some have suggested, then perhaps this mysterious presence will become the new main antagonists for next season then.

Cops took a sample. Felicity had it destroyed

Yeah, but do you really doubt that she might have taken her own sample?

Yeah, knowing what type of person his mother is I expected her to take her own sample

Yeah, someone is going to have to figure Ollie's other ID out on their own eventually. I was shocked Smoak was so dense about it, but maybe they're saving it for Roy.

Although, his mom finding out would be really interesting. She'd probably try to protect him from her associates.

Am I the only one annoyed with Ollie killing bad guys again...???

Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he’s all work and no play, so he asks Detective McKenna (guest star Janina Gavankar) on a date. A jewel thief named Dodger (guest star James Callis) hits Starling City and targets someone very close to Oliver. Meanwhile, while working with Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) gets her purse stolen by a very fast pickpocket named Roy Harper (guest star Haynes). Moira (Susanna Thompson) makes a move against Malcom (John Barrowman). Colin Donnell and Paul Blackthorne also star.

I'm going to take a guess and say that Oliver and Slade are going to end up rescuing Shado, and they're going to be like a little guerrilla unit against the mercenaries. Somewhere along the line though, Slade, serving his own self interests, will betray them.

I have a feeling Ollie will betray Slade, or at least that's how it'll look from his perspective. It'd be odd if Slade all of a sudden betrayed his friend, since the whole Wintergreen situation proved he thinks that's a really low thing to do

This sounds right. Slade sounds like the type to hold a grudge

But they both think it's low thing to do, and Ollie went back for Yao Fei even though Yao Fei betrayed him. I also don't think it'll just be a sudden betrayal. It'll be something justified. There are still five years of island stories to tell. In that time, Oliver went from a rich spoiled brat, to the man he is now. What will that same amount of time turn Slade into.

Now would probably be a good time for Ollie to invest in some goddamn body armor!!!

Probably. I and the people I have talked to who also watch the series have no problem with it.

Yeah, but what I mean is that from Slade's perspective Ollie will betray him. From Ollie's perspective, not so much. It could be something as simple as the mercs capturing Ollie, then finding Slade's hideout afterwards. Just to keep them from working together, I'm sure Fryes would tell Slade that Ollie gave them the location of the crashed plane. That would give a lot of emotional weight to their inevitable reunion.

The writers could obviously do something more clever, but I think things would work best if both Ollie and Slade stayed close for a while on the island. I really liked Ollie having a friend he could fluently communicate with instead of just "*non-english* *non-english* SURVIVE!"

CW finally wasnt last in the 8pm hr. They beat NBC ever so slightly.

I was going to edit my reply post. I was going to say that it may be a betrayal from Slade's perspective. Especially seeing how hurt he is by Wintergreen's betrayal, any type of betrayal will be personal.

When I saw that scene I was thinking that is was probably Malcom. I didn't really think it was anyone else.
