Episode 5. It's the one Episode where he was the most kind to the thugs. 4 he just beat up, one he nailed to a crate with 2 arrows and a chain, and one guy actually got an arrow in the chest/shoulder.

The way the show portrays it makes it seem like almost everyone he shoots he kills. Almost every time we see some guard or henchman get hit they just drop immediately. No clutching at the wound or screaming in pain or him coming up knock them out. They just drop.

Maybe he's shooting pressure points that knock them out or something. Because I've seen him shoot a bunch of people in the shoulder and do exactly that.

Nice, I had forgotten about that.

This show could use a lot more trick arrows. I loved it when he nailed the thug to the crate, without actually harming him, or the arrow he used to keep the money bag nailed to the ground.

Looking on the showrunners twitter pages and Green Arrow TV, it looks like they've added two new writers. Episode 18 is being co-written by Drew Greenberg, who has written for Buffy, Smallville and Warehouse 13. Episode 19 is being co-written by Bryan Q. Miller, who wrote for the last few seasons of Smallville and is also doing the Season 11 comic.

for both being billionaires how come green arrow is smart enough to use a voice distorter

while batman just growls:cwink:

That s because Chris Nolan doesn't "believe" in directors cuts or some sh**.

I'm with ya.hopefully Felicity can help with that. She is against the killing so how bout some non lethal arrow's.

How? Just because she's smart and smart people can do everything science-y? I hate it when shows do that. Thankfully, the show has been pretty good at keeping Felicity's skills computer related so far.

That and she's a super detective. One look at an arrow, and she knew exactly where to look on the net.

Anyone could have done that though. But somehow she could figure out that the shaft material of the arrow was patented, with one glance. But no one at the Police could figure it out?

Episode details are a little hazy to me but was it explicitly stated that the cops didn't know it was patented or simply that they hadn't tracked the arrow down? Because the latter can be due to all sorts of reasons.

That scene in Episode 9 never made much sense to me. So not only is Felicity somehow able to track down the arrow while the cops couldn't but from the way that scene plays out, it makes Oliver and the rest of the Starling City Police look like complete idiots. All she does in that scene is type something into Google/Bing. Why couldn't Oliver or Detective Lance do the same thing?

It was a horrible and poorly written scene. It actually made me hate Felicity for a while because I saw her as an overpowered character after that. That woman can apparently do anything.

I was exaggerating a bit. I didn't hate Felicity but it made me question how often they were going to do that. I was under the belief that almost every episode with Felicity in it from now on would've had a stupid scene like that in there. That's obviously what didn't happen but it's what I thought would've happened.

Well, she did analyze the compounds of the Vertigo drug, and narrowed down where in the glades the water could have been used, to make it. Also something you wouldn't think to go to an IT girl for. Though since it's a building full of scientists I guess, she could have asked someone.

The whole "IT girl" or even an "IT department" can somewhat be misleading. 'IT' runs the gamut from computer maintenance to cyber security (alternatively, read: hackers). While for small companies it would likely be more of the former, for a company as big as Queen Consolidated, the latter could very well be a not insignificant part of its in-house IT department. Also, considering Walter personally entrusted her to dig into Moira's activities (even while it was part of a business inquiry looking into unaccounted funds), something tells me that Felicity isn't exactly some run of the mill girl Friday.

As for how and why Felicity managed to track the arrow down quicker than than the SCPD, consider the following:

  1. Better resources and smaller workload. Also, as one of the bosses, Oliver kind of gets to jump the queue. Quentin, on the other hand, can't. And his is not the only case the SCPD tech guys are working on.
  2. Felicity lacks the need to do things completely by the book and follow strictly legal methods in a way that is admissible in court.
  3. There's the possibility that Felicity's simply better at it. After all, the private sector pays better. Hence, those at the top of the field would probably choose to work there rather than for the police.

Just a little help from you guys... can anyone provide me the link that the producers of this show said that they have plans up to five seasons?

Is it wrong that I find the island stuff far more interesting that the scenes in Starling City? Escpecially now that Slade's there.............

Nope, it's been better for the most part the entire show.

The island parts usually always seem better. I'm not sure why, but it feels completely different than the modern day scenes, like the actors, and writing are the best when it's focused on the island time. This last weeks episode was the best in part because it was mostly all set on the island.
