Maybe it was Yao fei pre island. Wat a tweest.
Oliver thought that defeating Malcolm's plan was his way out from being the Hood. What galvanizes him now to continue to be this vigilante?
Guggenheim: I want to answer this question without spoiling our plans for Season 2, so the best way to answer it — and this will be one of those things where you'll go back to this interview after you watch the season premiere to see what I mean — is that I think he's pretty much done being the vigilante. The question is: What happens now? Come October, that statement will make a lot of sense.
Didn't they drop hints that Malcolm was trained by Ra's Al Ghul? For example, when he mentioned that he went to Nanda Parbat. Would make sense if Ra's was the one that inspired him to take such radical actions with the Glades. Plus, wasn't Malcolm a member of the League of Assassins in the comics? So I really doubt Slade trained him.
Even though I was hoping Thea doesn't become a crime fighter, I can actually see that being a possibility.
The thing is re-imagining is quite common in this medium, maybe Slade was a member of the League of Assassins and trained Malcolm, I'm not saying it's a certainty but it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the show would go this route.
Why? They would never have to outright say that he's immortal, or show him healing from fatal wounds. Just make him mysterious and pull a Begins. Have him talk like he has been around, without him outright saying he's been alive for thousands of years. Or just show him get shot, immediately cut away, so you can't see how serious the injury was, only for him to show up when you least expect it. But did I say pull a Begins? Better yet, pull a TAS Joker. How many times did he "die", only to show up again?
I agree with Nathan but yeah Vandal is pretty damn big for Nathan alone.
Ooops. :PPfff... I could take him.
