Arrow is currently casting for a new major recurring character/possible series regular for Season 2. Here name is Lisa and is described as a mysterious woman with a tragic past. She will wreak havoc on Oliver's heart and is equal to Oliver in every way.

I don't understand why the movies can't be standalones and STILL crossover. I don't see why there needs to be all these in-references and cues to connect them all.

Because the comic books always mentioned other characters and events.

In the 1940-50's of comic everything was stand alones Batman and Superman didn't meet for 15yrs after they were created. What people want is what's happened in the MCU and I don't think DC needs to do that to make them connnected.

My first thought is "so what?" Mention them. Dn't mention them. I don't really care. But "not mentioning them" isn't the same as ignoring them and making it impossible to crossover.

Usually when he puts "Thwick" it tends to be Arrow related. Plus the Arrow digital comic had an issue with Ollie going after a target in China.

If one of those happens, I think it will be Det. Lance. From what I gathered in the season finale, I figure Laurel won't be with Oliver anymore. It'll be one of those 'likes the Hood, but can't like Oliver' things because of the whole 'Tommy is the one who showed up' thing.

I think Det. Lance finds out and decides to help Oliver clean up the city... maybe with the agreement, or his own secret plan, to decide whether to arrest him or not in the end. Contrary to that, IF Oliver stops killing, he might not plan to arrest him at all.. I'd prefer Oliver keep killing.

Excellent! they are usually pretty forthcoming so hopefully we get some news on the villains for season 2.

The description said they have a video presentation. But they'll have been filming for probably a little over a week. So it might not be much. The panel will definitely be interesting though.
