I always laugh when they show him put on the voice changer and stand sideways so they can't look him in the face.

Perfect opportunity with the Huntress coming back next episode. Have her teach him something now about having an actual mask instead of paint/makeup. And that's ignoring the fact her disguise is pretty bad also.

I think I finally figured out why I like Arrow so much. it's just so unpredictable. Each episode kicks parts of the plot into a direction I wouldn't have anticipated and I really like that.

It's on purpose, I tell you. Oliver is smart and savvy enough to know that he keeps revealing his identity to everyone out there. That's why he just uses paint instead trying to cover up half his face with a mask. It would just get in the way. Can you imagine how his conversation with Tommy would have gone if he had worn a mask in addition to the hood?

Tommy: Why should I trust you?
Oliver: <takes off hood> Because you always have.
Tommy: <confused> Who the f--- are you?!
Oliver: <points at his beard> ...

i kinda think tommy is going to die either this season or next, and barrowmerlyn is going to seek vengeance on oliver and the hood and be the merlyn we knew from the comics. too many people know who the hood is. back in the lois and clark, and even smallville days, if someone new learned the secret they were dead meat.

i wonder if deathstroke returns in the present or if deadman makes an appearance after that nanda prabhat reference. yes i know it's supposed to be "real" but that doesn't mean we wouldn't get a deadman spinoff in the supernatural sense.

That's because those shows were pretty formulaic and because "Status Quo Is God" was the norm back then. Not so now, especially for a show like Arrow.

yes i know it's supposed to be "real" but that doesn't mean we wouldn't get a deadman spinoff in the supernatural sense.

Mannn! I totally totally dig this show! And I dig it a lot for why most comics guys don't which is I like that they don't stick directly to the source material and can go on giving surprises! I like how they know the material but deviates from it to keep you guessing. The only thing I don't dig is everybody knowing dudes ID,but I got an idea about that I think somebodys going to whacked down the road. I just hope it isn't diggle but man this show rocks!

There are many instances from previous episodes that would really remind you of Nolan's Batman films.

Yeah, my fiance stopped watching after about 2 episodes - labelling the show 'a poor man's Batman' (she's no comicbook fan and Nolan's Batman trilogy is really the only comicbook movie franchise that she's enjoyed). I love Arrow personally but even I can see glaring similiarities. I mean, even though the characters were very, very similiar in the comics back in the day, the show has definately used the Nolan template so it's like GA is copying Bats all over again.
