I just love how everyone on the main page is getting so butt hurt about these posters. There are posters of half naked chicks everywhere, get over it.

I would like half naked posters of the ladies of Arrow just to be fair! :woot::woot::woot:

In fairness, most of the comments I'm seeing seem to be done jokingly.

Awesome, but WEAR A DAMNED MASK! That paint is doing you no good, Queen.

I think the hood, the fact that he tends to keep his head down and move around quickly, operating mostly at nighttime, and the voice modulator make it somewhat plausible that people won't recognize him. But I agree that he should have some kind of mask. Wouldn't the paint come off if he fell in water or was sweating a lot, kind of problematic?

I still think it's funny that he designed a mask for The Huntress, but has forgotten to make one for himself.

And I don't think that many crime bosses and thugs are going to recognize a famous company head's child, especially a male one who doesn't even have a sex tape.

"That Hood guy is Oliver Queen! I saw him on the red carpet at a fundraiser on E! News! Joan Rivers made fun of his shoes! Where's my uzi!"

I have Bronze Tiger's claws, just one pair so far but they are the exact ones.

I don't see a problem with the paint at all. Infact it makes more sense than a mask cause masks are made from material that can block your vision at certain angles etc.

My only complaint with the paint is when he just suddenly doesn't have it anymore. They could at least show him wiping it with a cloth or something.

Yep, that's my only complaint too.

That's ok about the paint. Looking forward to season 2.

So can we officially say that this show is part of the new DC Cinematic Universe

Not yet; in fact, I think it was reported somewhere that one of the producers for the show even confirmed saying that Arrow isn't connected to Man of Steel/DC Universe.

I agree, it's just plain sexist lol! This is just objectifying men, I say equal and fair treatment should be given to the ladies on the show who make it just as good as the men! lol :p

Well that's sad(for Stephen Amell/Green Arrow) and maybe good(for Flash at least)

Well we will see but I thought that is why they decided to cast Flash adding supper powers to the show and then start a Flash series.

Well it wouldn't be the first for two portrayals of the same character to exist around the same time. SR came out when Smallville was going into its 6th Season.

And plus, just because they're starting a Flash Series, which would actually take place within the continuity of the Arrow World, it doesn't necessarily mean that these two entities will exist alongside the Films that are being created as well.

Though the weird thing is that Amell said that they had to go to "Nolan" of all people in order to use the Flash, which is odd since Nolan has nothing to do with that and he's only producer in name at this point for the MOS sequel.

Makes sense but I would have sworn the are connecting all of them just like how Marvel is doing with shield.

These shows still have a chance to be tied to the DC film universe, but I think it's highly unlikely anyway.

There's not enough "vision" for DC films from what we're seeing so far.
Heck, I would actually suggest that it's too early for Superman vs Batman, given this is a new Batman we barely know.

Well, in Marvel's case with their SHIELD series, its a show that was created after Marvel had established their Cinematic universe, with the show's premise coming off of the events from "The Avengers".

It's not the same case with "Arrow", and truth be told, I'm very skeptical still on how they're going to make "powers" work within this show since they've gone about establishing so well that this is a world where the supernatural/sci-fi powers don't exist.

Plus, it's hard to imagine a canon world where you can have guys like the Flash and Green Arrow running around, and even have Ra's Al Ghul referenced (since the show's creators confirmed that within their mind, it was Ra's who trained Malcom), but they can't have Superman or Batman (two of DC's biggest heroes) appear on the show as far as we know of.

Well if the film is done right, it could continue Superman's story while introducing Batman in a way where he gets the right amount of exposure that allows people to become curious in wanting to see more of this new take in Batman without the character overstaying his welcome due to how recent Nolan's film concluded and how they wouldn't have to wait as long as the Justice League film to be made in order to introduce a new Batman.

And it's a great idea that Superman and Batman happened first so it can get there rivalry out of the way, so in the Justice League they would concentrate more on the team.

Which is why I also thought that connecting all of it would be a good idea getting people familiar with the characters in the shot amount of time.

any one Follow the Site spill on The Daily Spill The Flash casting was mention and Cyrus was Negative about Arrow And what bothers me the example of what he use was a mistake like Laurel Lance being a journalistic :cmad:

I'm just saying if you want to criticize something use True Facts :jedi

Explaining powers would be relatively easy I think. Since S1 was largely contained to Starling City and the Island, you could just expand the world. Or you could say that powers haven't been discovered yet. The big question is how you would portray certain powers on a TV budget. The big thing about connecting Arrow to the DCCU, which I wouldn't mind, is explaining where it exists in the timeline in relation to MOS.
