Canary should lend Arrow her mask. If she can wear one, and it obviously doesn't cover her identity, then he should wear one too, since the face paint is even more useless. All the face paint does is make Oliver Queen look like he has thick eyebrows and two black eyes.

And get BC some fishnets already!

As much as I dislike domino masks, and I really do, that is in fact better than the face paint. Also, it's amazing just how stupid the fishnets looks when compared to ANY version of BC that doesn't wear them. The gray stockings from JLU/YJ/DC showcase GA, the black leather pants here. They ALL look better than fishnets.

Netflix released this on their instant cue finally and I watched the first two episodes of Season 1 last night. I have to say, I like it so far. I'm not a huge DC fan other then Batman, but it's starting to make me want to read some Green Arrow comics.

Only complaint I have as of now is actor Paul Blackthorne who plays Detective Quentin Lance. I don't think he can act very well to where he stands out from the rest of the cast in a bad way.

I can't wait to see more flashbacks of Queen's time on the island. First episode, when he gets rescued, it shows Deathstroke's mask already. I was surprised considering he doesn't appear 'til later.

Really? Quentin is one of my favorite characters on the show. I like that he's a lot less antagonistic towards Oliver this season and is forming a pseudo-Batman/Gordon relationship with GA.

Really? Quentin is one of my favorite characters on the show. I like that he's a lot less antagonistic towards Oliver this season and is forming a pseudo-Batman/Gordon relationship with GA.

I don't have a problem with the actual character and his actions, just the actor who plays him.

Because they work a whole lot better for a street-level vigilante who gets into close quarters fights than damn fishnets. Also, they don't look stupid. Zatanna can have fishnets, that doesn't bother me.

I just don't understand why a fighter like Canary would wear fishnets. They are simply not practical. They would rip all the time. And they don't protect your legs when you have to slide across the ground. Give her the grey tights if you don't want generic black pants.

There's a reason all the fighting forces in the world wear quite similar outfits, and it has nothing to do with fashion.

The problem most people have to except is that the whole darn concept of Superheroes is NOT realistic to begin with.I have absolutely no problem with a "heightened reality",and that's what Marvel has done right (at least so far).

There's no questioning why a character wears what they wear.Sure it gets updated to an extent,but not any extensive changes made.

Now DC has it stuck in their craw that the "Nolan method" is the only way to adapt heroes in live action and many people have bought into it.

There actually is a fair ground between having something be plausible,yet overtly fantastic,without descending into "Batman & Robin territory.
