How would you know? Arrow only gets 3 million viewers and while that's great for the CW, it doesn't mean it will print money for the film franchise.

While I'm not against Arrow potentially being a part of the DCCU, unless a show is getting Game of Thrones or Doctor Who (in the UK) like ratings it's unlikely it would get big screen treatment.
 
Well to be honest I'd say no way it will happen but nothing surprises me anymore. Maybe this could be the next big craze, be nice if DC did it first.
 
Yeah, unless the point of this is to put Amell and whoever plays the Flash in the Justice League movie.

As far as sharing heroes on big/little screen yeah, but franchise, Marvel already beat them.

Best then as in they are in the lead now although to be fair WBs don't simply make DC Movies so they aren't dependent on the comic book films like Marvel are. My point wasn't DC vs Marvel it could be the next big thing to do in the industry.

Because then you the same fans would complain about Arrow's incarnations of X and Y characters blocking the movie verse characters, you'll complain about the continuity and heaven forbid if they change the actors. :oldrazz:

This is why different cartoons don't cross-over unless they are from the very same studio, it's a pain in the ass no matter what platform, why bother creating something with two different studios?

The one thing that disappoints me about what they show is in store is at 0:22 and 0:30. I just hope this is a short lived change in weaponry - nothing more I hate in an archery show is the "amazingly talented" archer relying on a compound bow (which actually would massively alter his firing rate anyway)

Only one season in for the show and that main relationship bugs me and if they really think that they can get more people to get invested in it by having them kiss over Tommy's grave after what they did to him, then they must be blind.

On another note, I wonder how many women Oliver is going to get involved with in this season? It seems like it's becoming a running gag for him to sleep with several women over the course of the season.
 
I guess season 2 will be heavily influenced by TDK with the mention of copycats. I was hoping for something more original.
 
Not really, when something big or unusual happens, it tends to inspire copycats. That happens in real life, so I've got no issue with the show doing it.

Yeah but you know they got it from TDK. Season 1 pretty much followed Batman Begins beat for beat.
 
It only followed BB in the sense of a big destroy the city with a device plot. How it played out was not the same. Also, I don't care, it was cool in its own right. I watched the trailer, Oliver and Shado hooking up, lets start the Oliver women counter over again (he had like 5 in S1).

Well that is one of the things they adapted best from the source material. Ollie has to be a womanizing sonofab***. Even if he's just truly in love with Dinah (yeah I don't care about the whole "we call her by her middle name"-policy)
 
Actually, he wasn't really a womanizer until Judd Winick started writing him that way, even to the point of claiming that he and Shado had an affair (she raped him Judd).

Looking at the new trailer I'm guessing Thea and Roy will be part of the copycat Arrows.
 
Laurel one punched a thug, it looks like she has been training. And she looks damn good doing it!
