What are the chances that all three of these guys are just Josh Brolins or Joe Manganiellos instead of being a Ben Affleck?

Do you mean those rumoured and then never actually cast?

Only 1 of those actors is blonde. Shame since I really don't want Barry to brunette.

Scarjo isn't a redhead, Jennifer Lawrence doesn't have brown hair, Emma Stone is a natural blonde, actors can change hair colors and styles for different roles.

OMGURRRD never heard of hair dye! But I doubt the actors would be dying their hair if they got the role. Some how I don't think that Grant Gustin would look good blonde.

Somehow, I don't think Grant Gustin's getting the role. If the kid can still reasonably pass for a high schooler, then he's too young.

Wally, who is this Wally that you speak of? Do you mean the red-headed guy that DC says doesn't exist, even though he's much more interesting than Barry?

Hear about the Year One special? It'll air a week before the season premiere and feature a recap of season one with a special preview of season 2.

Yeah, that guy!

even though he's much more interesting than Barry?

Oh, wait. Nevermind. No idea who you're talking about actually.

Now.......you know I was just using him for my example.

I don't agre with that, Wally is just different. He's definitely a more comical character but I think Barry has the better job outside of the Flash persona with the CSI aspect which I think works better all around alongside his alter ego. Also I don't think you can beat Barry's relationship with Iris, it's a very special one in the DCU.

That would probably depend on whether or not WB still had that idiot Bat-embargo in effect. They wouldn't even let any of Batman's supporting characters appear in JLU for goodness sake (the double date episode was originally supposed to feature Nightwing and Batgirl, not Huntress and Question and Riddler, Scarecrow and others were supposed to be members of the LOD).

Well then it had a positive effect, because that weird couple was one of the best things about that show.

Definitely, I think the Bat-embargo was a blessing at times tbh. I think the only time I wished it should have been lifted was season 3 of JLU when I would have loved it to have been the Near Apolocalypse storyline mentioned in Batman Beyond.

I do think the Bat Embargo as a whole was daft though. They wouldn't even let Two Face appear on the Batman. WBs seem to think they're audiences aren't smart enough to differentiate a movie version and an animated version.

Yeah, sometimes it's a blessing, like in the case of Huntress and the Question, sometimes it's just plain stupid.

:up::awesome::up:

I don't think the Bat Embargo has been in effect since late 2008/early 2009. We've had a lot of villains appear in non-Batman stuff since then, including at the same time. Heck, we already had two Batman villains appear in this show (Deadshot and Firefly).

Since when have ANY of the actors cast as high-schoolers come across as passable?

Scary Movie said it best "If this was a movie then they'd cast a bunch of 30 year olds to play us"

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone pulled off the HS look very well. Then again, both of them look much younger than they actually are (I was really surprised to learn that he was almost 30 at the time).

Wow you must be the only person who didn't like the relationship on JLU. I loved it, and to be honest I'd rather have seen that. How much do we need if Dick and Barbara? Also I doubt they were even planning on Dick ad Abarara when the embargo was already there from season 1 which is why we only saw Dick and Barbara in the briefest of cameos in the first part of the finale in JL Season 1.

How did you get that I didn't like the relationship from that? The blessing I talked about, referred to Huntress and Question.

Ohh sorry, I must have misread it
