I gave it a 10 and it is all because of Slade. He just stabbed Oliver emotionally with subtle references to Shado again and again. Lying to Slade made things much worse. I wonder if Oliver will ever figure out his lies almost always come back to bite him in the butt?

Let the theories start of who was the blonde in the A.R.G.U.S prison in the preview for next episode.

But, I just can't stop rolling my eyes at this Shado's death issue.

I know what you mean. That's like the ONE and ONLY thing that I would literally change about all of this. It's not really a bad idea, it's just that the execution for that idea was a bad one.

They should have just made Shado into Slade's LI on the island to begin with, with her returning his feelings while keeping it platonic between her and Oliver, thus when she died, it would actually make a lot of sense of why he was so devastated by it.

Lots of thrills and suspense this episode.I loved Ollie trying to stab Slade with a letter opener the second his mother leaves the room.:hehe: What was he gonna tell her happened?

This was the first time Ollie became "Arrow" on the island.Their plan was pretty clever.I had a feeling Ollie knew what he was doing getting caught.Still, who's bright idea was it letting Sara free a bunch of guys kept prisoner (and presumably tortured by her) for months?

Slade's reasons for revenge on Ollie are....shaky at best. They're really trying to stretch a point in saying the miricuru is warping his decisions.

Glad to see Ollie struggling with the thoughts of his actions causing Shado's death.I would've thought it's come much sooner than now.

Nice to see Sara taking leadership on Team Arrow.Roy wants off the chain in the worst way.:funny: Wonder how long before he gets skilled with the bow.

One can only guess what Slade is planning for Ollie and Ivo.I guess those three guys from the ship are our new co-stars for the island for the foreseeable future.

The stuff with Slade in the Queen home had me admittedly giddy!:awesome:

Where does Oliver live? I never thought about that until now

That and how her death played out. Ollie didn't really "choose" anyone.

Well, he inadvertently did, I think. I mean even though he wanted to save both of them equally, by getting in the path of just one person, signaled Ivo to kill the other one that wasn't shielded.

Well the Mirakuru is amping up his emotions and whatever feelings he had for her up to 11. Who knows what his reaction would be if he were still normal.

Yeah, I'm calling Harley Quinn on the blonde in prison! She looked a little bit crazy

I'm glad they took the time to point out Sara wanted Ollie to tell everyone she died on the Gambit.

But, I don't buy it. I'm positive he would've jumped in front of either one of them when it looked like Ivo was going to kill them right then and there. It's just that was went down was Ivo pointed it at Sara at the last second. They make sound like Ollie was all "I chose Sara. So, you can go ahead and kill Shado."

That may be evident for all of us, though I guess they're going with the "survival's guilt" as an excuse of Oliver feeling like he signed off Shado's death.

But Oliver was dumb. He thinks he chose Sara, eh told her so. Instead he should have told her he was just jumping in front of the gun to take the bullet himself. If he believed and told that to Slade things would have been better. Since he didn't believe that, he had a problem.

I understand what the writers are going for. It just comes off as dumb to be due to how they played things out with Slade's relationship with Shado and her death. So, I just roll my eyes at it.

It seemed Slade's love for Shado was an 11th hour addition (and it shows).I took Slade for a family man in the first season. He had a kid, presumably a wife waiting for him to come home. Then season 2 rolls around and despite she and Ollie having a roll in the hay (or moss...or...whatever) he's all like "She's the only woman I ever loved!"

Just keeping saying to yourself "Oliver is crazy" and it fills in a lot of plot holes.

Exactly. :lmao:

I'll go with dumb instead of crazy. :woot:

Hmm, I don't know if it's a joke, but it makes a lot of sense. One of the hints from a couple months ago was that "That clock tower would be put to better use) and with Clock King knowing where they operate from they may need to move out of his basement soon lol.

I was partly joking. I just assumed they'll have him move into the city if it's going to be a permanent thing. Doesn't have to be a clock tower. Plus, there was that one Sara used to hang out in, but I don't think it was in the nice part of the city.

That's the one I assume they would move him into is what the hint is talking about.
