Ask Your Nerd Trivia Questions! - Part 1

I think he was also Bloth from Pirates of Dark Water. Would love a live action version of that

What was Arnold's first line in The Terminator?

What was the name of Ripleys cat in Alien?

So, no takers, right??

Not a huge fan of the film but I want to say Roddy McDowell and either Walter Brennan or Slim Pikens for some reason. Don't ask me who is who. Like I said I've seen Black Hole maybe 3 times in my life.

Who knew that was even in my database? Like I said, that movie is kind of a blur to me. I remember being freaked out by how it ends with like the bad guy going to hell or something. Let's put it this way... It's no Star Wars. ;)

Jurassic World stars at least 9 actors from 4 different Marvel movie continuities. Who are they, who did they play, and what continuity are they from?

If the point is to not Google, no one can name all those actors and their character's name off the top of their head.

9?
I can tell about the obvious Chris Pratt/Star Lord, Vincent D'Onfronio/Wilson Fisk (Netflix), and Bryce Dallas Howard/Gwen Stacy (Spider-Man 3).
And that's about it.

Jurassic Park has Samuel L. Jackson/Nick Fury (MCU) and Wayne Knight/Microchip/The Micro Man (Punisher: War Zone).

Michael Papajohn/Uncle Ben's Killer: Spider-Man
Omar Sy/Bishop: Days of Future Past
Irrfan Kahn/Rajit Ratha: The Amazing Spider-Man
Ty Simpkins/Harley: Iron Man 3

The other two are more obscure.

What feature film that came out in 1990 based on a beloved franchise from the late 80's and early 90's was, before the release of the BLAIR WITCH PROJECT nine years later, the highest grossing independent film of all time? The answer may shock you.

You're thinking of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Not a shocking answer.

Really? I was shocked when I learned it.

I saw TMNT 1990 in theaters as a young teen and saw how TMNT was this massive lisencing franchise before that, and saw how it quickly went from a comic my friend and I discovered because his older brother was into it and had the original black and white ones, to a huge juggernaut of toys, cartoons and other things that had penetrated homes all over America known to kids and parents alike. That such a film had to be independently produced without the backing of a Hollywood studio is shocking to me (in 1990 I wasn't particularly cognizant of the differences between NEW LINE and the other entities we call the big studios) when I found out as an adult plus that it held the title of highest grossing until the Blair Witch nine years later is also shocking to me.

I got over my surprise when I heard of it maybe a year ago.

War Operation Plan Response

I'll return to the Ninja Turtles with my question, and ask:
In short, give the story of the Shredder in the original comics, from start to end.

I could answer any TMNT trivia in a flash but alas I know nothing about the franchise :)

How many times did Kirk back in time in Star Trek TOS?

Splinter's master kills shredders brother, shredder vows revenge. He kills splinter's master, Splinter vows revenge. Splinter and the turtles mutate, train, and challenge the shredder to a fight to the death. The turtles kill him in issue #1.
