Ask Your Nerd Trivia Questions! - Part 1

And now for something a bit more recent than 1930's pop culture. :o

What was the original line in Aliens where Bill Paxton (Hudson) says "Game over man. Game over" before he ad-libbed the game over part?
Don't know the original script line, but well over a year after that movie, you still couldn't get into any kind of panicky situation, no mater how trivial, without hearing someone utter those lines, in that voice. :funny:

Marvel Marvel or Timely Comics Marvel?

Well Timely comics was first and eventually became Marvel and they brought the characters from Timely with them.

I think the Human Torch was the first one. The Android one they brought back in the 80's which may or may not have been used already to build the Vision. I never did figure out which happened and then apparently they both did because time travel.

I gave my answer and looked it up after. Turns out Human Torch was in the same issue as Ka-Zar, the Angel (the one they showed in X-Men Noir) and Sub-Mariner.

Also, everyone should read the Marvel Noir books. They're awesome.

Just to clear, Ka-Zar from those ancient pulp comics is not Kevin Plunder.

What is the very first food we see Peter Parker eat?

Here's one for everyone. What is the panel I posted from?

It's something I found way back when and the original site that hosted it is gone now. :(

Jay Pinkerton wrote those and he did the Superman and Batman origin comics. They were both amazingly hilarious but I can only find one or two pages of each since every single link leads back to the defunct website.
