Unfolding across iconic Gotham City locations, including Wayne Manor, Cold, Cold Heart equips players with the powerful Batman Extreme Environment (XE) suit and new gadgets including the Thermal Gloves and Thermocharged Batarangs. The game introduces several hours of all-new content in which players will battle through punishing, icy landscapes to witness Mr. Freeze's heart-pumping first encounter with the Dark Knight.
Cool bananas. Could see the batwing quick-fly feature coming into play here, perhaps. I'd love to go up the batcave elevator, as the Bane segment teased.

You guys think Batman Arkham 3 is getting announced in April? So the DLC can get some hype build off with some Batmanness.

I'm little late to the party, I bought the season pass because I might as well play Freeze DLC. I admit I was tiny piss off about not having Two-Face DLC anyway I bought the pass I liked the Bruce Wayne DLC reminds me of the Batman Begins and I love early stories of the Dark Knight. Instead of buying them separately I might as well get other Wayne DLC too I thought.

So did people stop caring about this game the moment Arkham Knight was announced? Everyone is talking about Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and now Knight. Its like Origins was completely forgotten lol.

Same thing happened to the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City threads. Plus, people are still talking about Origins. Just not in this thread (in the AK one).

Not much to talk about right now.

It will liven up again next month when the Mr. Freeze DLC comes out.

You can complete the unfinished Dark Knight Challenges in I Am The Night Mode.

That means I can't die anymore, so I have to survive all the way up until toward the predator rooms at the end in order to finish the Predator challenges. I just can't foresee being able to get that far in I am The Knight Mode.

You can restart if you feel you're about to die and your progress will be saved. It's not the most ideal situation, but given how few options there are for completing the challenges without restarting a new campaign, it's not that bad. Also, you don't have to wait until the end for the predator rooms; a lot of the challenges can be done in the earlier rooms, and any completed challenges from normal mode and NG+ carry over to IATN.

So anyone liked Bruce Wayne DLC? I wish there was more than just a challenge maps.

Has anyone else played Arkham Origins Blackgate? I'm at the part where I have to retrieve the card key, and it looks like the game glitched on me. Because no matter what I do, I can't get out of the complex and back to the dead engineer.

And I've read up on the game. Apparently there are a number of progression halting and game breaking glitches, that no one felt the desire to take care of. So for now, **** that game.

Just finished the game! It has the best story of the three released so far and the worst graphics. I was lucky to only have one glitch the entire game and that was during the Firefly fight. Definitely can't wait for the freeze DLC.

I liked the Bruce Wayne DLC. I mean, it wasn't story driven...but for being challenge maps they were different yet similar, and I liked the tiny bits of story they did squeeze into it.

Giving this game a second chance
It's installing now

It should been more story to tell like how he met Ra's Al Ghul sorta like in Batman Begins.

Lol, then people would have complained about the DLC taking too much from Begins, which is what people we're already complaining about despite Kirigi being in the comics and having been in Batman canon as one of the many mentors for decades.

Also isn't Arkham City the first time Batman actually confronts Ras'? I remember Batman being quite shocked when he meets Ras' and the way their whole meet up with the Wonder City plays. My memory might just suck tho.

Batman: "I've met Ra's Al Ghul many times. He claims to be over 600 years old, and I believe him"

Definitely not the first time Batman has confronted Ra's.

It would have been better, yeah, to have more story. But aside from having voiceover narration or pages of texts to read on screen, they probably would have had to change quite a bit to add more story. And then that kinda changes the entire dynamic of the Season Pass, and we'd probably would have had to wait a while longer for it have been released. And then that in turn would probably have set back the Story DLC, 'Cold, Cold, Heart'...and man, have they been taking time on that.

Jumped the window after Loeb's execution
Aaand the inevitable game freeze (happens with the other two games, that's why it was bound to happen)

Animation and smoothness of controls is pretty similar to those of the DmC reboot, which is a very good thing
It's too early to call this my favorite in the series so far, I'll have to progress more to see whether I enjoy it more than Arkham City or less
I still hope to easily enjoy it more than Arkham Asylum, which so far is not so hard for the game to achieve

Ah, then yeah, i just recall Batman being shocked, must have been Ras' old wrinkly body. :b

I am well aware the challenges carry over to New Game+ and I am the Night. That's the problem. I completed New Game+. So all I can do on my current save file is I am the Night.

I'm on Step 14 which is the 3 enemies with one propane tank. That can't be done until the much later predator rooms in the game with propane tanks. And you have to complete all of them in order as well. So I would have to play through I am the Night to get to predator rooms in the story mode with propane tanks. And there are very few of those rooms unfortunately.

Arkham Origins lagged on my PC, just like it's predecessors, though it runs smoother than them
I removed the game

One thing to note is how this game is easier than the other two

So I'm replaying all 3 games at the same time (it's an interesting experience). I really like Origins, but man is my timing off. I thought it was me until I went into Asylum and City and haven't lost a step. Something about it is just really off. My countering is just not there. Maybe that's good so you kind of have to relearn this game, but it's my only complaint.

Because the action is sped up in Origins, the enemies attack faster too. They are also really aggressive, so you have to counter often.
