Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 7

The whole look of the game was a little more gritty. I think if you combined the environment detail from AC with the grittiness and more down to earth designs from AO, you'd have the perfect batman game.

I really loved what they did with Bane in this game. They definitely took some inspiration from TDKR in terms of looks and also actually making him a respectable villain, unlike his previous appearances in the game franchise.

I love his role in Arkham City, he's one of the villains I laugh really hard at their failure

What I liked best about this game is they took the detective portion of this game to the next level. The fighting is less button mashing and more about timing.i like the crime in progress feature I just wish it varied in the kinda crimes. They could of used to add more predator rooms and some kind of chases.

Got Blackgate for the 2ds. It's pretty fun but all very stripped down. I wish the combat was a bit more responsive as well but its enjoyable

Who thinks it's a good idea to put thugs in a boss fight? It's annoying and painfully distracting, and awfully annoying
The mouse is assigned by default for attacks, use of gadgets, and it's the only thing used to rotate the camera, so that makes it a lot worse on PC

And why must there be thugs added to Bane's fight? Isn't Bane about one on one fights and Hhonor? He should break the necks of Joker's goons instead of fighting Batman who is focusing on fighting goons as well as him

Use a game controller

My controller doesn't work on the game, I hoped being published by another developer would make it be playable using my gamepad
Now I might have to get an XBox controller, or a software to use PS3 controller

The good news is, I got over the fight, now I have to find Bane

I think that was their way to tie their Bane into the Bane we see from Asyslum/city.

The way the game ended with the joker as well you can tell they were trying to show a transition from this right into Asylum.

Interesting because I don't believe Rocksteady themselves considers the game part of their canon?

If I have this right, off the top of my head, I remember using the batclaw gun to shoot lines across I believe.

I can't find a way to link the end under Batman's feet when reaching that area to the one facing it

Hope it offers a nice amount of content as well and will let me finish the Predator challenges.

The DLC release date is April 22nd. Maurice LaMarche is apparently reprising his role as Mr. Freeze, but we'll wait and see. His delivery was awesome in City.

Mr. Freeze was great because he was pretty much the only villain that the Arkham verse treated sympathetically. Reminded me of BTAS where most villains were broken people.

Those fights in New Game+ are going to be a nightmare, they are the BANE of these games. Unsatisfying fun, always annoying, and soldiers to aid the BIG BRUTE?

But this is something I hated since the days of Asylum, his moment in City is a satisfying payback for the bad memory he gave in Asylum, and it will be a satisfying payback for his moments in Origins as well

I finally completed the Dark Knight challenges I finished most of them in the first play through but the worst nightmare earned it's name. After doing so and then starting game plus, those challenges actually came in handy.

I just bought this, just started playing... How is this so glitchy?

I see there are patches but how do I dl to my ps3?

I can't even fly around without freezing, it's like gaming on a windows 98 computer.

Yeah, there's a lot of controversy related to the bugs in the game, especially after they announced that they weren't working on bug patches anymore for the game's problems, only finishing up single player DLC.

If you're playing on PS3 and have an internet connection, as soon as you boot the game up, there should be a prompt for downloading a patch (or patches).

Call me crazy, but after beating this game last week, I really think it's the best of the three. I think it took all of Rocksteady's concepts and elevated them to the next level. The designs were way better, Detective Mode was way better, and Batman looked SO MUCH BETTER. He looked absolutely perfect - the best he's ever looked in almost any medium (maybe minus those gloves). His ears in AA and AC were too damn long - it was almost a distraction.

I have this on XBox360 and there wasn't a single bug or glitch for me. I really don't think I have a real complaint about this game. For me it was perfect.
